I’m not sure if PD is looking at the comments anymore. Lots of people have been mentioning lots of different things that consistently go unnoticed and unaddressed, this just being one example. Wish there was a way for us to actually be able to communicate things directly to PD in a way that shows it was seen/heard.

I’ve commented just as many times, if not more, and even sent a DM (over a week ago) about the whole Queendom Puzzle vs R U NEXT poll PD said would happen (but hasn’t) and literally nothing. We need some type of forum or something where we can relay things in an orderly fashion so we’re heard but it’s not overwhelming (like having to ask the same question under multiple posts in hopes it eventually gets addressed) Edit* Or like, when PD misses a comeback. There needs to be a way to inform them. Cause PD doesn’t seem too aware of comebacks if they’re not from top groups. Like, they’ve said they really enjoy ALICE (formerly ELRIS) in the past but have missed their last TWO comebacks (even though people consistently commented asking for reactions to them).

Both issues though boil down to a lack of communication. There’s no way to really get in contact with PD, YouTube subscriber, paying Patreon patron or otherwise, to voice the concerns.

The Patreon used to have a Community tab but PD turned that feature off a while ago. Was the ideal place to consolidate. A discord would definitely work too, especially since only people that would want to be active on it would join and it surely wouldn’t be all 5000+ patrons on there. And all the different channels can be specified and organized.

There actually is a Discord. PD just never goes on it. He is still aware of it and even talked about it in one of this year's livestreams. But in a way that suggests that he doesn't really understand how Discord works. He mentioned wanting to "streamline" the server. As in, reduce the number of channels. Mind you, the FoT Discord already has a pitifully small number of channels. Reducing that even more will just lead to chaos. PD, on the small chance that you're reading this: a good Discord server needs many different channels for different purposes so that everything can be neatly organised. Please keep that in mind.

There being a Discord but it essentially never being used by PD ties directly back to the root of the issue then, lack of communication. I made a suggestion a long time ago that was ignored that, maybe WE, the patrons, make like our own Google Doc or something that shows all the comebacks upcoming/missed and then we have someone directly give that to PD or Blaire. And then PD acknowledge that list in their schedule. Like, adding a section for “Reactions from Google Doc” on the schedule.

I'm the one who updates the schedule in the discord, I'm the server babysitter lol I just got lazy with updating the new schedule because some of the months PD formatted them differently in a way that was hard for me to copy, or it was a whole essay post that I didn't have time to condense down to something easily digestible. 😅 But basically, the discord is just for the fans, unfortunately not really a way to talk to PD directly.

Recently I got another subscription on someone else's Patreon and I was so happy that I could communicate directly with the creator, I didn't know this could happen because I've never seen PD interacting on the comments :( (it might have happened and I just wasn't there). And it's not like there's hundreds of comments, maybe under the most popular groups once in a while... I know they're very occupied but it's frustrating still :/

I'm also subscribed to two other Patreons. DG Reacts (another Kpop reactor) and Filmbuff (TV show reactions). With both of them it's very obvious that they do actually read all of the comments and they communicate issues and delays immediately. Yes, their channels are much smaller but PD/Blaire still shouldn't just ignore most of the comments here. Filmbuff even had the same issue with Vimeo basically nuking his account. In response he completely paused all pledges until the issue was resolved and made a public announcement on Youtube that Patreon content is not available at the moment. Luckily the issue has been fixed and all content was recovered. Meanwhile a good chunk of PD's Youtube audience doesn't even know if he's still alive right now...

I follow YaBoyRoshi on here and that Patreon has 4x the patrons and they somehow still manage to mention and reply to comments IN VIDEO. It’s a TV/movie reaction channel and they put out content almost daily. They’ll address comments from the comments section of the previous episode in the new episode and they get HUNDREDS of comments on most posts. Like, directly saying “the comments said X to explain Y to us.”

He's obviously seeing the comments because he wouldn't have reacted to this if it wasn't for the comments. But if he doesn't vibe with their music, why would he want to sit through so much pre-debut content? I think checking out the debut first is good because now he's INVESTED and will understand the story.

Because it's prerelease content and its important for the debut ... And everyone suggesting Kiss Of Life has made that clear. Also, They've done marathon reactions before. The whole point of our concerns is that we're not being heard properly, yes they mentioned in the reaction it's because we suggested it so much and that they'll probably get to the other MVs later, but we also made it clear that the Solos/prerelease were necessary for context. It's like starting with Avengers:Endgame without watching the other movies.

This isn’t a good argument especially when PD has watched and reacted to pre-debut content before. PD watched the entirety of the LOONA predebut content even before they’d officially debuted. The marathon was over 2 hours long. The predebut content is what gets you invested, not the other way around.

PD if you’re reading this I hope you understand how frustrating being a subscriber to you can be. People tell you constantly the order of things like the Kiss of Life MVs, call you out for not uploading stuff when you said you would, struggle to communicate with you, etc. and nothing has changed. You’re cultivating such a frustrating environment with the cycle you’ve been doing consistently for over a year. You release a schedule, make broken promises, something comes up, you apologize and promise you’ll do better, but then you never will and the same thing happens a month later. Stuff happens in real life but for it to constantly affect your work every single month is crazy considering this is technically your job. When you asked if we’d still support you if you did less content and charged more earlier this year it felt somewhat insulting. I’ve been an on again off again patreon supporter of yours for a couple years because I love your content, and everyone understands when mental health struggles happen, but it feels like gaslighting when you constantly say you’re gonna do better and never deliver. This goes past your mental health issues and moved on to negatively impacting others who believe your false words. Many people, including those in your discord you rarely ever visit, feel the same way. It’s just all so disappointing and I want to communicate that with you. Please do better, if not for yourself at least for those who’ve adored you for years and still support you despite your constant failure to be consistent over a couple of weeks. Sorry for the brutal honestly, but I think it should be heard.

Neeko, I think most of us here are pretty in tune with Jaehyuk's musical tastes. That's part of the reason why I kept mentioning the Kiss of Life solos. I'm 100% sure he'd love them. And watching those first would have probably made him appreciate the group songs even more. I can only speak for myself but the main reason why I'm so invested in Kiss of Life is precisely because I watched the solo MVs FIRST.

I literally commented on his live streams if he’s aware of kiss of life and if he added it to his catch up list for debuts and comebacks. He replied in the stream and said that he knows of them and will react to it. But literally everyone, including me, in the stream told him that there are 6 MVs and he should react to them in order. Also that there is Natty in this group. There’s no way he didn’t read all of that.

FYI - Belle and Haneul were never SM or Hybe trainees, they've both denied it. It was a popular misinformation that spread like wildfire through stan twt. Belle has participated in SM song camps/worked as a songwriter for them, but wasn't an actual trainee.
