dang you watched it with the English closed captions😭, the closed captions are awful for anything that isn't just giving subtitles to the English in my opinion. They probably didn't bother you, but knowing Korean and seeing what is being translated always bothers me. Anyways tho, im glad you are waiting this! I was bored when this came out so this is perfect lol

Oh also V is ambidextrous, he was originally born left handed but also learned to use his right hand. So you will often seeing him using both, not to be weird 😭 but I think I have noticed that he using certain hands for certain things. Like eating for instance he often uses his right hand, but when it comes to sports ive seen him use his left hand more, like to catch, throw etc, he even Kicks with his left leg most of the time.

I think you should really watch their interview with Zane low with apple music. It gives an insight on arirang in a different way than the documentary and also how it felt for them to work on the album after military service and them being older now. Anyways I enjoyed this reaction (:

So glad you could watch this!! And yes, I love that they included these conversations. They’ve always been really impressive at communicating and dealing with conflict, but i think now that they’re (almost) all in their 30s, they are deservedly more self-assured and have stronger artistic styles and opinions that might be different to other members. But I love how genuinely respectful and appreciative they all are of each other, it’s really beautiful to see

I haven't watched the documentary since it came out. It was interesting to rewatch it at this point and of course always love watching with you! Thanks!

"yoongi marry me" is a well-known inside joke/meme between bts and army! lol. that's why all the marriage signs you saw were about yoongi

Seneca

no, they fully reunited in june/july 2026 (not february like you guessed)– so they basically immediately flew to LA to start working on arirang!

I love this combined request! I picked up new things rewatching this with you - like you can really see the collaborative effort it took to get Body to Body just right. A short sample before the return of the hook and j-hope loved it, but RM and Suga weren't feeling it. A long sample that left off the return of the hook, and J-hope who liked the shorter version didn't like the long version any more... and so the perfect marriage of the longer part so audiences could sing along, but the return of the hook at the end to tie it back together was born. And as you noticed, this time I did notice just how much the pressure of the comeback was causing them to second guess themselves throughout - did they have enough English to be global, but not too much to lose their identity? Was the title track too mellow? Was Arirang too on the nose?! They're all important questions, but as you also pointed out, these guys are seasoned professionals at this point and have instincts that they can trust if they don't let the nerves overpower them. The director also did a really cool thing with the visual storytelling here - where the camcorder footage, and filming them mostly outside and mostly during the day while in California (free, at "home" with each other, just musician friends working on a project, happy to be together) and then mostly inside or at night in Korea, in board meetings, at photoshoots...full celebrity life, except in the brief moments they get to enjoy their individual hobbies. It's two worlds - one full of happy comradery and one that's busy and isolating... and both are existing over top of each other.

I really wish they didn't try to be so inclusive with this album. Don't get me wrong I like this album a lot, but I also feel like some of the songs are a little bit too generic perhaps? I wish they made an album that were for themselves more than us fans. I hope that's what they'll do in the future, be more selfish. Though maybe it has to do with time constraints etc. I would've been happy to wait longer if they'd needed it. That's only my opinion though and there are some great songs on the album.
