Iconic movie!!

This movie really is iconic! The lore is so so deep with all the musical artists that have referenced it. I know you mentioned Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Beer, but on the top of my head two other artists that you have reacted to on this channel that have lore with this movie are Halsey and Hayley Williams! On Halsey’s song killing boys, she plays a deleted clip of Jenifer’s body in the beginning and Hayley Williams has said that paramore was offered the end credit song and she was so excited but ex paramore member Josh Farro made her turn it down because it was “too demonic”. Obviously she couldn’t accept the end credit song as paramore because paramore is a band and they all have to agree, but she still went off on her own and made a solo song for the soundtrack and that ended up being her first solo song she did outside of paramore. She constantly says that the story of how that song came to be is insane and she hopes to tell the whole story someday. It was briefly played in the movie and I was waiting for you to pick up that it was her voice lol. It’s called “teenagers” and has tons of old paramore lore packed in the lyrics of that song

I was not expecting this at all. I love this movie so much. For so many years I feel like it was only appreciated by the girls and the gays because the marketing for it was atrocious and so hetero male centered like “look at Megan Fox isn’t she hot” which is actually really sad because Megan has said this is her favorite movie she’s ever done and she never felt exploited or like she was only there to be the hot girl while making it. I really love to see new people enjoy this and see what they take from it and how they interpret it. I died when you said Adam Levine before the movie mentioned him. Also Needy’s actual name is Anita.

it is crazy to me that so many people genuinely did not get that this was a lesbian film. jennifer and needy making out and saying they can play boyfriend and girlfriend like they always used to wasnt clear enough? and then demon!jennifer eating boys that even looked at needy once, ending her crusade with her boyfriend. like huh!!
