This game was very special to me when I started playing it back in 2012 as it helped me get through tons of dark times. This song would always come up and remind me I was back to world that I had created and I could relax in. I know the game had a very similar effect on so many people and though it's seen quite an interesting a lifetime so far, it still remains one of the most played and loved video games of all time. I had the pleasure of meeting Notch and C418 back in 2016 and talked with them about how much I loved the music in the game. In fact I recently told C418 how I was interested in doing classical guitar versions of his tracks and had been for a while. I hope I didn't let him down with this. I took a few liberties but really wanted to capture the feeling the song was meant to have. This past weekend I was a part of the amazingly successful charity stream for The Runaway Guys: Colosseum where we raised $178,000 fir Direct Relief! I wasn't able to pump out a full fleshed out cover due to time constraints so I thought it would be a good time to give this one a try since I've wanted to for so long. Please go watch some of the highlights from Colosseum at http://www.twitch.tv/protonjon and I hope you enjoy this cover of a very important song to me! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Follow me! 🐦 https://twitter.com/FamilyJules7x 📘 https://www.facebook.com/FamilyJules7x/ 🕹 https://twitch.tv/familyjules 💬 https://discord.gg/xMgpwd6 📷https://www.instagram.com/familyjules7x If you'd like to support me, pledge to me on Patreon or buy my music! 🧡 https://www.patreon.com/familyjules7x?ty=h 🥁 http://familyjules7x.bandcamp.com/ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Proudly endorsed by: Ernie Ball Strings (https://www.ernieball.com/) Schecter Guitars (http://www.schecterguitars.com/) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Composed by: C418 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Instruments Used: Classical Guitar: Cordoba C7 Interface: Axe-Fx II XL+ Mixer: Makie ProFX12 Microphone: Shure SM7B + Audio Technica AT2020 Audio Software: Cubase 10 Video Software: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 Video Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH5s Check out my entire list of equipment here: https://kit.com/FamilyJules7x
