There was something about this melody that made me wanna play it on guitar, and it was weird because when I actually sat down to write it out, it wasn't actually how I remembered the melody going. It ended up being tricky to get the different rhythms right each time and remember how each section went since they were so similar. I also realized half way through that, well, halfway through is just kind of a bass solo section. I decided instead of doing a big key change or chorus solo or something that I usually do, I decided to take a more jazz structure and just treat the A section as a solo section for the bass and lead guitar to solo. I really wanted to bust out all of my favorite licks on this one so I apologize if the solo gets perhaps a bit too shreddy, I just couldn't help myself! Hope you enjoy! I didn't have a ton of time to put this one together since I just got back from TRG Colosseum this past week and have been battling a cold. Hopefully you can't tell in the video! :) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Follow me! 🐦 https://twitter.com/FamilyJules7x 📘 https://www.facebook.com/FamilyJules7x/ 🕹 https://twitch.tv/familyjules 💬 https://discord.gg/xMgpwd6 📷https://www.instagram.com/familyjules7x If you'd like to support me, pledge to me on Patreon or buy my music! 🧡 https://www.patreon.com/familyjules7x?ty=h 🥁 http://familyjules7x.bandcamp.com/ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Proudly endorsed by: Ernie Ball Strings (https://www.ernieball.com/) Schecter Guitars (http://www.schecterguitars.com/) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Composed by: Shoji Meguro Filming by: Corey Dyer (http://www.twitter.com/corey_dyer) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▼▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Instruments Used: Lead Guitar: Schecter Damien Platinum Rhythm Guitar: Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid C-8 Bass: Schecter Diamond-J 5 Interface: Axe-Fx II XL+ Mixer: Makie ProFX12 Microphone: Shure SM7B + Audio Technica AT2020 Audio Software: Cubase 10 Video Software: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 Video Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH5s Check out my entire list of equipment here: https://kit.com/FamilyJules7x
