Chapter 27

“Kakashi, Kurenai, Asuma! I’ll deal with Itachi, you guys deal with Kisame, bastards still alive. And watch out for his sword, it’s sentient.” Without waiting for a response, I created an energy sword and brought it down upon Itachi’s head hearing an explosion afterwards.

Sensing I had not harmed Itachi at all I sped through a few hand seals and spat out several dragon-headed fireballs at his location.

‘Katon: Ryuen Hoka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique).’

Another explosion was heard this time much bigger, before the smoke suddenly disappeared showing Itachi surrounded by his own skeletal Susanoo looking unharmed.

“Hehehe what’s the matter Itachi? You’re breathing a little hard there.” I lightly mocked seeing the man breathing slightly harder than before knowing that the Susanoo took a huge toll on the body unless one had Senju DNA or the EMS.

Not letting him respond I started launching Yasaka Magatama at him one after another making use of my unlimited chakra forcing Itachi to dodge when he noticed the barrage didn’t stop.

The battle was actually kind of disappointing if I was being honest as Itachi’s greatest tool was his Genjutsu which I was completely immune against. Then there was the whole thing about this whole fight seeming like it was playing in slow motion for me with Ciel already coming up with thousands of ways this fight could go and how to counter them.

I also had to purposefully turn off all of Rimuru’s passive skills and lower my senses to the minimum in order to stop myself from knowing everything around me for kilometers. Even now it was harder for me not to accidentally kill Itachi than anything else.

Seeing Itachi slowly retreat as the fight continued, I let him go knowing that our fight had attracted the attention of several Shinobi who I felt were heading our direction and I didn’t want them to interfere.

Reaching a clearing I dismissed my Susanoo and teleported in front of Itachi cutting his escape and making him stop in his tracks now breathing a little heavily after avoiding my barrage of attacks. In comparison to that, I looked good as new and didn’t feel tired at all which I didn’t find surprising after my evolution.

“You have haah truly grown strong.” Itachi muttered quietly sounding out of breath.

‘Stronger than you can imagine.’ I thought silently before deciding to end this confrontation and used Instant Motion, something I had learned thanks to my Spacetime Domination extra skill, to appear in front of Itachi in a literal instant and shoving my hand through his chest.

“Ghhhrk!”

“I told you.” I muttered quietly with a blank look on my face not feeling sorry at all since this fucker had meant to kill me and Izumi in the past.

“So, you ‘cough cough’ did.” Itachi quietly muttered back with a resigned look on his face as he bled from his mouth. “W-watch out for a man ‘cough’ in a s-spiral mask.”

Seeing the stamp take effect I deposited Itachi into my inventory before he could die and I had to revive him again since I was the one who injured him which would void Warranty Plan.

‘Wonder what Sasuke will have to say about this? Haah not like it truly matters.’ I thought in dismissal.

“Master, I suggest you quickly make your way back to your other comrades. One of them needs immediate medical attention.” Ciel suddenly informed me shaking me from my thought of the possible future.

‘Thanks, Ciel. How are our new guests getting along?’ I thought curiously sensing Kakashi’s marker and teleporting to it arriving at a destroyed landscape with Kakashi and Gai looking a bit roughed up.

“I made sure that everyone is behaving properly Master.” Ciel said proudly completely ignoring a couple of grumbles in the background.

‘Good, keep up the good work.’ I praised silently while scanning the battlefield and finding Asuma hovering over an injured Kurenai who was currently holding a hand to her stomach that was bleeding heavily.

Quickly making a wood clone I sent it to heal Kurenai while I focused on the battle.

“Is he dead?” Kakashi asked looking at my bloodied hand for a moment before focusing on Kisame again.

“Yes.” I answered simply.

“Kekeke so Itachi really died. Guess they weren’t exaggerating about your strength. I better start taking this seriously if I want to get out alive.” Kisame said looking a little sad for a moment before getting serious and going through a set of hand seals and spitting out a great volume of water from his mouth.

"Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shoha (Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave).”

“Kakashi, Gai! Back off! The radius of this technique is huge, you need to get away before we’re all trapped.” I yelled over the sound of the water as we tried our best to stay on our feet.

“What about you?” Gai yelled heeding my advice and already backing away with Kakashi right behind him.

“I’ll be fine. Just go!” I yelled before I was submerged underwater content with the knowledge that they had left as it would give me the chance to finish this quickly without too many questions being asked about my abilities.

My clone had already teleported Kurenai and Asuma to the hospital before resuming healing her.

Feeling someone quickly approaching from behind I turned around and came face to face with Kisame looking life a half shark now after having merged with Samehada.

Quickly moving out of the way I let him pass watching as he quickly turned around and charged at me again.

“Kekeke you’re rather fast underwater but how long can you keep that up before you need to breath?” Kisame asked mockingly.

Waiting until he was in front of me, I suddenly smirked and looked at him in the eyes with my EMS active and whispered out a low ‘gotcha’ before activating Tsukuyomi making him freeze in place as he fell under my illusion.

“Idiot, did you already forget that I have a Mangekyō of my own?” I asked rhetorically before summoning my stamp and stamping Kisame, also putting him in my inventory with the huge water prison coming undone a moment later.

A few minutes later the water finally dispersed and I saw Kakashi and Gai quickly heading my direction.

“Akari-kun! What happened?” Gai asked looking around cautiously.

“Based on your expression, I’m going to take a guess that he’s dead?” Kakashi asked also looking around briefly before focusing on me.

“Yep.”

“Great job Akari-kun. Your flames of youth are as hot as ever!” Gai congratulated me with a cheesy thumbs up and a giant shining grin on his face.

“Thanks.” I said in a deadpan still finding that pose ridiculous.

“And his body?” Kakashi asked curiously.

Instead of responding I summoned a chokuto to my right hand, the Drago Blade that had been unlocked with my evolution and Rimuru’s God-grade weapon, before engulfing it in my Black Flame-Thunder skill. Then with a casual swing of my blade I swung behind me where I made a root grow out of the ground and completely disintegrated it not even leaving ashes behind.

“That happened to him.” I said casually before dismissing my blade.

“I see…So that’s the reason why there were so few bodies found.” Kakashi muttered quietly with a look of realization on his eyes most likely referring to the bodies of Suna and Sand Shinobi that I had killed.

‘Well with two members of Akatsuki dead, if their group wasn’t wary of me before, they definitely are now.’

(Takigakure, Third POV)

In a deep underground cavern two figures wearing dark cloaks with red clouds could be seen standing together. One had short black hair with his face covered by an orange mask with a swirl pattern with only one eye socket.

The other didn’t look human at all and had the appearance of a Venus-flytrap with his human half being divided evenly down the middle in a white and black color scheme.

“Itachi and Kisame have been killed by Konoha. More specifically by Akari Senju.” The dark half of the plant-like human said in a dark and raspy voice.

“This could become a problem for us. Both Itachi and Kisame were some of our strongest members.” The figure in the mask said after a few moments of silence seeming deep in thought.

“Who would have guessed that the bloodlines would finally mix after all these years?” He said in a quiet mutter before looking at the figure in front of him. “Zetsu, were you able to record their battle or recover their rings?”

“Nope. That Akari Senju guy was able to sense us as soon as we got close to the battle. There’s worse news, the boy has awakened the Mangekyō.” Zetsu said with the white part talking first.

“Tsk, one problem after another. With his Senju blood who knows what powers he might have/will awaken. It seems we have no other choice but to get rid of him now before he becomes too strong.” The man in the mask said sounding annoyed.

“Are you sure about that? The plan won’t be ready for another two years. If we move too soon the world will know about us and might move against us.” Black Zetsu said in warning.

“And yet if we don’t do anything we risk the boy becoming too powerful and reaching the likes of Hashirama.” The man said in return. “Fortunately, it seems we still have time before then. I will let Nagato know.”

After saying that the masked figure suddenly disappeared as if he was never there leaving the Black and White Zetsu alone.

“Hahaha looks like things are about to get interesting.” The white part said with an amused chuckle.

“Yes, fortunately we now have a backup plan in case Tobi and Nagato fails. This one with an almost guaranteed chance to awaken the Rinnegan.” The black part said with a calculating voice.

(Regular POV)

“AKARII!”

Hearing a shout, I blinked looking away from the discussion I was having with Mei behind my temporary desk at the Hokage’s office with a frown on my face recognizing the voice.

It had been a day since my encounter with Akatsuki and the village was already abuzz with activity at the news of me killing two S-rank Missing-nin and such famous ones at that. I had been having a pleasant chat with Mei since she would finally be leaving tomorrow after having overstayed her trip about Kisame and handing back Samehada.

A moment later the door abruptly opened and Sasuke marched in with a livid look on his face not even paying attention to Mei who was looking at him curiously.

“Did you, do it?” Sasuke asked, with his fists clenched with anger and despair radiating off the teen in equal measure.

Instead of answering I summoned a small jar filled with green liquid and inside a pair of Sharingan eyes could be seen.

“…Is that?” Sasuke asked tentatively losing his previous expression with his eyes now focused on what I showed him.

“Yes, they’re yours now. You may do with them as you wish.” I said sliding the jar closer to the teen not bothered about giving away such eyes since they were just a copy that Ciel had made after analyzing the original when I ripped them out of Itachi’s face before shoving him back in my inventory last night.

“So, he’s really dead…” Sasuke muttered quietly gently picking up the jar and bringing it up to his face.

“Yes.” I lied, saved from having to say anything else as Kakashi chose that moment to appear in a swirl of leaves behind Sasuke.

“Come Sasuke, there’s something I want to show you.” Kakashi said gently leading Sasuke away from the room who seemed to be lost in thought and didn’t protest. “If you’ll excuse us Hokage-sama, Mizukage-sama.”

Watching them walk away, I focused on Sasuke specifically. ‘This is your last chance to turn away from the path you walked in canon, Sasuke. If after this you still desert the village and direct your anger at it, the next time we meet will be your last.’

“That kid, he was directing a lot of killing intent at you in the beginning.” Mei muttered pulling me from my thoughts seeing her glaring at the spot Kakashi and Sasuke were just at.

“Hmm only time will tell if the kid gets over it or let’s his hatred consume him.”

“Haah whatever, putting that angry teen aside, that makes it 3 swords that you’ve given me huh?” Mei asked with a sexy smirk on her face as she got off her seat and walked around the desk before plopping herself down in my lap and hugging me around the head.

“That’s right.” I said with my own smirk hugging the redhead around the waist and bringing her closer. “Do I get a prize?”

“Huhuhu I think it’s only expected that you be paid for your services~” Mei purred in my ear before pulling me in for a kiss that I gladly reciprocated.

We didn’t leave the office for hours and while we didn’t have full on sex since Kushina would kill me since she had dibs next, we did manage to get to third base.

(Surface of the Moon, Toneri POV)

They were coming.

The ‘gods’ that his family spoke of for hundreds of years were coming to Earth.

It was something he had dreamed about years ago and the reason he had descended upon the Earth and stolen that girls’ eyes awakening the Tenseigan. If the Earth was to perish anyways then he would be the one to do it and complete his ancestor Hamura’s wish of destroying humanity since they were not making good use of the Sage of Six Paths’ gift of chakra anyway.

Always warring and killing each other ever since they perverted his gift. Yes, if humanity was to perish, best do it himself.

When he finally met the girl though Toneri changed his mind and decided that she would be his new wife after he destroyed the planet by crashing the Moon into it. Upon telling the girl that she would be his new wife however, the girl had not taken it well and had immediately attacked him with her attacks becoming fiercer when he commented he would be taking her sister’s eyes as well.

In the end he had no choice but to kill her after she declared that she would never be his as she already had someone she loved.

“Seems the Tenseigan has settled.” Toneri said in satisfaction finally opening his eyes revealing blue pupils filled with overlapping white flower patterns.

“So, this is how Hamura-sama viewed the world…Amazing.” Toneri whispered looking at the world around him in fascination before focusing his gaze on Earth.

“The time has come for all of you to be judged.” Toneri intoned with his eyes glowing in power activating Tenseigan Chakra Mode gaining a cyan shroud of chakra and nine Truth-Seeking Balls appearing behind him.

All of a sudden however Toneri felt much lighter than before causing him to pause and look down at his body curiously. When he did, Toneri watched in confusion as what appeared to be four long objects surrounded by cyan chakra fell down to the ground.

‘Wait! Cyan chakra?’

Looking more closely Toneri watched with mounting dread as the ‘objects’ lost the shroud of chakra surrounding them revealing two arms and legs that started bleeding immediately.

Inspecting his body once more with horrified realization, Toneri confirmed that those limbs did indeed belong to him and now he was bleeding profusely from his stumps. It was then that the pain finally registered in his brain causing him to scream in agony.

“AAAAAHHHH! MY LIMBS!”

“Took you long enough to notice.”

A cool voice spoke behind him causing Toneri to turn his head still floating in mid air thanks to his chakra shroud and seeing a teen with blue hair and golden eyes also similarly floating in the air.

(Regular POV)

Not even giving the fucker a chance to talk, I teleported in front him and grabbed him in a chokehold with one hand while with the other I stamped him in the forehead. While I waited for the 3 seconds to pass, I watched impassively as Toneri glared at me in anger with eyes that were not his.

“Azathoth.” I muttered quietly activating one of my Ultimate skills and devouring Toneri completely in less than a second, even his soul.

‘Tsk, I need to get another Binding method that’s a lot faster than the Stamp if I’m going to be dealing with the Akatsuki and Otsutsuki in the near future.’
