Classes were officially over and with it our first year had come to an end.

With no Quirrelmort, Harry had been able to attend the last match of the season unfortunately winning against Ravenclaw and winning the Quidditch Cup. Also due to the noseless bastard, that meant that Dumbledore had no reason to award an outrageous number of points to the Gryffindors meaning that Ravenclaw had taken the House Cup.

Not that I really cared about either if I was being honest though it still felt good to win so there’s that.

My training sessions had continued the past with Daphne, Rose and Hermione already being able to cast second year spells and even some third year with no trouble. My other training sessions had also continued with Tonks thankfully and had actually become rather heated probably with this being Tonk’s final year.

We now found ourselves riding back home on the Express after a normal year all things considered. Our compartment on the way back was full with the addition of Hermione and Daphne even if Ron was not too happy at Daphne’s being there but did his best to pretend, she wasn’t there.

We spent the ride back exchanging contact information and how to stay in touch during the summer. Ron had even invited us to his home with myself doing the same to Harry’s and Rose’s joy at wanting to get away from the Dursleys and see an actual wizarding home.

“I’ll be gone during the month of July but should be back by August and we can meet up then.” I further explained wanting to have a month to myself.

I wanted to go out hunting this summer.

“Oh, sorry. Seems I forgot to introduce myself.” said Tonks with her hair turning red for a second. “Names Tonks, just Tonks. Nice ta meet ya firsties.” Tonks waved hello.

After introductions were done Hermione turned my direction and looked at me curiously. “So how do you know each other?”

“You see Tonks here has been helping me throughout the year by teaching me a few handy spells after I helped her find a private place to practice. She wants to be an Auror you see. Sort of like a muggle police.” I explained.

“Wow.” I heard various ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ from the others who were now looking at the woman in awe.

“Tonks is great.” I continued my compliments and suddenly added a teasing quality in my tone. “I have learned a lot of things from her.” I said now looking at her with an innocent smile causing her to blush blood red along with her hair turning the same color at the true meaning behind my words.

“I-it’s nothing really. Anyway, Aether can I speak to you in private?” asked Tonks with a cute stutter avoiding looking at anyone in the eyes.

“Sure, no problem.” I agreed with a nod before turning to the others who were watching our exchange in confusion. “I’ll be right back guys.”

Receiving nods from the others I stood up and accompanied Tonks silently to another compartment. After entering Tonks immediately started closing the curtains and locking the door with the strongest locking charm she knew of and silencing the compartment.

I watched all of this in silence with a smile on my face having some idea why she had done that. No sooner had she finished, I found myself pushed into a seat and Tonks straddling my lap as she pulled me in for a needy kiss that I responded to immediately.

An hour later I was on my way back to the others leaving a satisfied and happy Tonks behind. I had given Tonks my Floo address telling her she was more than welcome to stop by anytime she wanted.

When I got back to the compartment, I received curious looks and when asked what had taken me so long, I just responded that I was spending some time with Tonks seeing as this was her final year. No one said anything after that and we enjoyed the last remaining hours of the trip talking between each other.

Before too long we finally reached King’s Cross Station and got off the train.

I was then introduced to Hermione’s parents who greeted me with smiles on their face as apparently Hermione had nothing but good things to say about me much to her embarrassment. I only smiled and joined in a bit on their teasing of the girl who finally having enough took her parents away though not before giving each of us a goodbye hug.

Daphne’s parents were a bit different being more formal in their greeting to which I responded in kind. Daphne even managed to give me a quick hug when her parents weren’t looking before she ran off with a red face.

Before they completely left, I spotted Astoria eyeing me curiously looking pretty pale no doubt due to her family’s blood curse. I waved goodbye to the pretty brunet receiving a wave in return along with a shy smile.

Next, we approached the Weasleys and before I could offer any greeting to the parents, I was assaulted by a red blur that crashed into me in a hug. Looking down I spotted Ginny as the culprit and uncaring that we had an audience watching us I smiled and returned the hug.

“Hey Ginny. Ready to join us at Hogwarts next term?” I asked in a whisper receiving a yes in the form of her silently nodding her head in my chest.

We separated moments later under the watchful eye of her parents and brothers who were looking at us with mixed reactions. Smiles from the parents and curious and suspicious from her brothers.

“Hello again Mrs. Weasley. Thanks again for your thoughtful gift during Christmas.” I smiled politely at her before looking at Arthur Weasley who I hadn’t met yet.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you sir. My name is Aether. You have a wonderful family.” I said greeting him respectfully.

“Hello again Aether dear. How was your year? Also thank you as well for looking after my Ron at school and your gifts even if you didn’t have to.” greeted Mrs. Weasley with a smile on her plump face.

“Hello young man.” Said Mr. Weasley with a jovial smile. “It’s good to finally meet you as well. I’ve heard all about you from my wife, daughter and son of course.”

We continued talking jovially while making our way out of the platform after Harry and Rose introduced themselves. I couldn’t help but notice that Ginny had not left my side since our reunion and Rose was similarly glued to my side throwing the other redhead slightly jealous glances.

Rose must have figured out Ginny had been the girl I had been writing to all year.

When we exited on the muggle side, I immediately spotted Vernon Dursley waiting impatiently for Harry and Rose. We didn’t receive any such greetings from the man with him trying his best to ignore our existence as he threw impatient glances Harry’s and Rose’s way.

A little embarrassed Harry and Rose quickly excused themselves and after a quick goodbye and promises to keep in touch, they left in a hurry after the man. Maya and Varina just nodded not having much to say about the matter.

“Are there any worlds in particular you’re interested in Master?” Ilulu asked after regaining her courage, lifting her head and looking at me with those beautiful green eyes of hers.

“Of course, though since our choices are limited for now it will have to be a world where I feel confident that it won’t kill us immediately after arriving.” I nodded mentally shaking my head of beautiful elves and thinking.
