Chapter 48: New Bonds
A While Later
A nervous and wary Emma had taken us back to her home, which was just a big cave that her kin were using, and explained their dire situation along with some facts about the world we were in.
Jibril had at first been extremely disgusted when Emma led us into the cave, and I had to step in before things escalated, as Jibril didn’t find such a place fitting for me to visit at all.
Emma’s clansmen were completely terrified of us, mostly of Jibril since she wouldn’t stop glaring at them, and they left us alone for the most part.
Thankfully, thanks to my interference and later as Emma started going over what she knew about the world and magic, her hostility lessened as she became giddy at the new magic system.
“Brid,” I muttered as I raised my hand. A ball of fire immediately appeared above my palm, greatly impressing Emma for some reason.
“A-Amazing! Caius-sama didn’t even use an incantation either,” Emma exclaimed in surprise.
“Huhuhu, as expected of Caius-sama~” Jibril gushed at my side with a pervy expression that went ignored, as it was basically her regular expression at this point.
“Now imagine a ball of fire and throw it at your target,” Emma instructed next with a bit of excitement.
Looking down at my ball of red and orange fire magic, an idea came to mind. ‘I wonder if I can use the same principles as Shin Wolford?’
Concentrating, I imagined the process of combustion and watched with a slowly growing smile as the flame turned blue and the temperature increased massively.
Ignoring the happy squeal from Jibril and the shocked gasp from Emma, I aimed my hand forward and released the flame.
It traveled like a bullet, hitting the wall in front of us and easily melting through the side of the mountain, carrying on a good distance and leaving nothing but molten rock in its wake.
“Nice, it worked after all,” I muttered with a pleased grin. ‘Magic that works on imagination is truly busted as expected~’
“I can’t believe you did it so easily! And I’ve never seen that color of flame before!” Emma exclaimed with wide eyes.
“Huehehehe~ Master, was that blue flame similar to the ones I learned about from your world?” Jibril asked me with an eager expression. During our time together, when she wasn’t bothering me with questions, she had kept her head stuck in a book from my collection.
“That’s right. I’ll explain it to you in more detail later. I’m sure it won’t take you long to pick up this world’s magic,” I said while giving her back a small pat, getting her to excitedly nod her head.
“Thank you~”
“I’ve never met otherworlders before, Caius-sama, Jibril-sama. What’s your current level?” Emma asked curiously with an excited smile.
“Oh yeah, they have a leveling system in this world,” I muttered thoughtfully before shrugging my shoulders. “Couldn’t tell you. Being an otherworlder along with Jibril, for all we know we might be either level 1 or 300.”
Jibril just looked more excited at the prospect of more knowledge and didn’t answer, so Emma took us to a room before bringing out a scroll as her kinsmen gathered around excitedly.
With an expectant gaze, Emma handed me the scroll first. As I touched it, it glowed blue, which for some reason caused the orcs to become disappointed.
“I’m guessing it’s either inconclusive or level 1, huh?” I asked calmly with a raised eyebrow, not bothered in the slightest by either answer.
Besides, there was a certain Manas residing in my soul who was very picky about who she let take a peek at me.
“Yes, the scroll shows your Level as 1,” Emma said with a bit of confusion as I shrugged carelessly before passing the scroll to an excited Jibril, who gladly accepted it.
Unlike the weak reaction I got, when Jibril grabbed it the scroll lit up brightly, causing some of the orcs around us to turn away as they were temporarily blinded by it.
“Was that good?” Jibril asked excitedly once the bright light faded.
Emma stared at the scroll in shock for a few moments, not knowing what to say, before warily turning to her and hesitantly answering.
“I-I’ve never seen it do that before. I can only say that your level definitely exceeds 1500,” Emma said with shock.
“Hoh, 1500 huh? That must mean that Master’s level surpasses a billion then~” Jibril said with a giddy smile as she handed the scroll back a bit reluctantly after a small look from me. It was clear the perverted angel wanted to keep such an artifact.
She didn’t need to worry, though, as I fully planned to recruit Emma and her kinsmen to join us later on.
“Well, thanks for answering my questions and being so accommodating, Emma,” I said, interrupting the sudden silence that had fallen over the cave as everyone was still looking at Jibril and wondering if she had just been joking with her declaration.
“P-Please think nothing of it, Caius-sama! I was just repaying the favor for you saving my life,” Emma said frantically as she waved her hands back and forth.
Seeing her make such an expression, usually reserved for a really cute or beautiful girl, especially with her soft voice, made me want to forgo my plans and just name her right here and now. I was positive that thanks to my influence, once Emma evolved after her naming, her outer appearance would finally match her inner personality.
‘Yep, let’s take care of Tomoe real quick and then have Emma join us. No offense, but I don’t plan to spend my days in this world inside a cave,’ I thought silently while keeping my expression blank.
“Nonetheless, you still helped us, and in return, let me help you with that Shin situation,” I declared with a grin, causing the room to go into shock again.
Ignoring them, I turned to Jibril as I started making my way out of the cave. “Let’s go, Jibril.”
“Coming~”
As soon as Jibril caught up to me, I prepared a teleportation circle underneath us, still ignoring the pleas from the really nice and pleasant orc girl.
“P-Please wait! Caius-sama!”
Appearing outside the cave, I immediately took flight with Jibril following my lead as we made our way toward Shin/Tomoe’s location.
“Huehehe~ I’m about to personally watch my beloved Master butcher some insects while being in an entirely different universe~ This is great!” Jibril giggled to herself happily as she flew beside me.
Turning to her, I raised an eyebrow, catching her attention. “You don’t plan to join in, Jibril? While I’ll take care of the main perpetrator, you could always deal with the weaklings,” I suggested with a bit of a teasing smile, knowing what was coming next.
Jibril blinked at me in confusion. “But Master, I’m prohi—” She suddenly stopped as she saw my widening smile, and realization entered her eyes, which got really big.
“Master, are you saying that—”
“That you’re no longer restricted from fighting or killing to your heart’s content, yes,” I finished for her as my smile turned into a smirk. I watched various emotions flash through her eyes before they settled on a worrying amount of devotion and obsession.
I didn’t react as Jibril suddenly sped up massively and crashed into me, hungrily devouring my lips. We came to a stop in the air as she wrapped her legs around my back and started humping me lustfully.
Returning her kiss, I let her do as she pleased while Jibril slowly worked the excitement out of her system. It ended in a huge orgasm as she came undone in my arms when I started playing with her perky, panty-clad ass.
Slowly pulling away from me with a line of saliva still connecting our lips, Jibril licked her lips as she breathed heavily against mine with lidded eyes.
“Master is truly the best, spoiling me like this~” Jibril muttered with an almost drunken and lewd smile as she looked at me with pure worship and lust in her eyes.
“Once more, let me declare my undying loyalty and love for you, Master~ Meeting you is truly the best thing that has happened to me,” she stated with a serious tone.
“Just never betray me and I’ll call us even,” I muttered in return with a smile, causing her expression to turn extremely happy again. I sneaked a small kiss before finally pulling her away from me despite her soft whine, then used Water Manipulation to dry the wet spot on my shirt and pants.
“I would rather die than betray you, Master~” Jibril said with a happy and blissful blush on her face.
“Good. Now come. We’re close,” I said before continuing our journey, with Jibril keeping up as she giggled to herself happily.
=====
It didn’t take us long to reach a red torii gate where a bunch of ogres were crowded around it, doing something.
Jibril and I came to a stop midair.
“Kill them. Just make sure to leave the dragon to me,” I said simply with a bored expression as I crossed my arms.
At my command, Jibril’s expression did a complete 180. Her happy and blissful look transformed into an extremely sadistic one with a bloodthirsty smile.
“As you command, my beloved Master~” Jibril purred as her wings suddenly extended behind her, making her look like an angel of death while a black aura surrounded her.
Orbs of darkness appeared above her palms next, and with an excited giggle, Jibril rained down destruction on the unsuspecting ogres.
“Hehe, this feeling~ How I’ve missed this feeling!” Jibril shouted in jubilation as she continued causing explosions everywhere her attacks landed.
“I wonder if I should restart my hobby of collecting heads?” Jibril giggled in an almost drunken stupor, not letting up at all.
“Hah, that’s enough, Jibril. They’re already dead,” I said with an amused shake of the head. She had, of course, gone overboard, her first attack had already killed every ogre, and the rest was just wanton destruction.
“Huh?” Jibril blinked as she stopped her attacks. Sure enough, after the dust settled, every ogre lay dead on the ground with various pieces missing from their charred bodies.
“Tsk, disgusting bugs couldn’t even let me enjoy myself a little,” Jibril pouted petulantly like a child not getting what it wanted, causing me to roll my eyes at her antics.
At that moment, a green eastern dragon made its appearance, also appearing hurt from Jibril’s attack, and immediately headed straight toward us intending to attack.
“So the Dragonia exist here too,” Jibril muttered with an excited smile, only to yelp as I smacked her ass.
“You’ve had your fun. Now it’s my turn,” I said and flew forward, meeting the dragon—who I knew was Shin—head-on.
Dodging its attempt to bite me, I retaliated with a haymaker, causing it to let out a surprisingly female-sounding moan of pain and sending it crashing to the ground.
“D-Damn you!” Shin got off the ground with some difficulty before its eyes glowed red. The next moment I was encased in some magic.
“Jibril, do nothing!” I yelled out, more for Shin’s benefit than my own, confusing the dragon.
“It’s over now. You’ll drown in happiness inside my memory illusion!” Shin declared confidently as I let the spell take hold.
‘Hey Astra, make sure to show my memories of anything Japan-related, but especially samurai and the Edo Period,’ I instructed my partner in amusement, knowing how Tomoe had become really interested in those kinds of memories to the point of being willing to form a contract with the protagonist Makoto.
“Leave it to me~” Astra replied with a chirpy tone.
I stayed still for a few minutes as Shin greedily reviewed my memories like a starving beast before deciding she had viewed enough, mostly because I could feel Jibril slowly starting to lose her composure, and nobody wanted that.
Devouring the magic and illusion around me, to Shin’s surprise, I smirked at it before rearing my fist back, preparing to hit it a bit harder than before.
As expected, instead of continuing to fight, Shin suddenly adopted a pose familiar to a puppy on its back with its paws in the air, or a pose of complete submission, as it spoke in a hurry.
“Please lay down your arms. Though it was merely an illusion depicting your desires, I apologize for the unpleasant experience,” Shin pleaded in a rapid and nervous tone.
‘But I didn’t experience anything though,’ I thought silently. Nonetheless, since this was the reaction I was hoping for, I relaxed my posture.
A moment later, Jibril landed beside me and glared at the dragon with malice, only to settle down as my hand came to rest on her soft pink hair and caressed it, causing her to start giggling happily like a schoolgirl.
Eyeing Jibril warily, Shin addressed me respectfully. “Visitor from another world, my name is Shin. As a greater dragon, I’m considered invincible.”
“Greater Dragon, huh?” I muttered in interest, wondering if they had any connection to True Dragons, before putting those thoughts away and introducing myself. “Anyway, my name is Caius Aurelius, a visitor from another world like you said.”
Turning to Jibril, I silently urged her to introduce herself, getting a small nod from her.
“And I’m Jibril. A Flügel and, most importantly, Master’s humble and devoted servant~ Pleasure to meet a member of Dragonia.
Huhuhu, you should thank my dear Master for that beautiful head of yours remaining attached~” Jibril said with a big smile that definitely didn’t reach her eyes as she eyed Shin like a predator would its prey.
“Right… Ahem. Caius-dono, would you like to enter a contract with me?” Shin asked me excitedly.
From what I remember, it was just magic similar to a Soul Corridor or the bond between Namer and Namee from Tensura.
“Sure, go ahead,” I immediately declared without hesitation, taking Jibril by surprise.
“I will assure you that it’s a good thing. A contract is a special type of magic that grants various benefits when the parties pledge an oath to one another…” Shin went on a rant without hearing me before pausing as my words registered.
“Wait, you agreed?” Shin asked with a hopeful tone.
“Sure did,” I said with a big smile, hands on my hips. “Get on with it.”
Looking at me strangely for a moment, Shin nevertheless happily nodded. “Then let us perform the contract ritual.”
A moment later I felt the magic make contact and blinked as it attempted to do something with my soul but failed. While that was happening, the expression on Shin kept turning more shocked before it settled on resignation as I finally felt a connection form between us.
With the contract complete, Shin glowed a brilliant red for a few moments. When the light show faded, instead of a green eastern dragon there was now a beautiful young woman with wavy light-blue hair, red reptilian eyes, and a curvaceous figure.
The most eye-catching part, though, were her clothes, resembling a sexy kimono that showed off most of her breasts and legs.
With a happy smile on her face, the girl struck a pose and began talking like an old samurai. “I look forward to working with you, Master.”
Grinning in excitement, I nodded in acceptance and decided to make our bond more permanent and official.
“Then, as a sign of our new bond, allow me to name you Tomoe from now on,” I said calmly as the newly named Tomoe gasped when she felt my magicules enter her body.
Before anything else could happen, our moment was suddenly interrupted by a very soothing and familiar voice. We turned and saw the figure of Emma running in our direction with a frantic expression.
“Hey Emma! Guess what? I got a new subordinate~” I yelled out to her, also naming her in the process as she came to a stop in front of us with a confused expression on her face.
‘Yep, please evolve quickly. Every time I hear your voice, I’m expecting to see a cute or beautiful girl and instead end up looking at a short orc-girl in a dress,’ I thought to myself silently.
While the newly named Tomoe thanked me for the name and introduced herself to Emma, I thought about the only other girl I wanted to recruit in this world.
‘Now, how do I go about finding a giant spider?’
