I got a couple screenshots while in-progress.  They're just screenshots, though, so they're smaller than the full image.  I'll try to remember to get actual painting WIP snapshots in the future if that's something you like.  I have a hard time knowing when to take them so I tend to just kind of, uh, not.  I was originally going to do something much more simple, hence the outlines, but ended up foregoing that for something more detailed.  I still liked the lines, though, so you can have them.  The colors were from a generated palette and were #AE62A2, #B787A3, #D3B3B0, #E4E3C5, and #F7FFDC.  What I wanted overall was something "light" and comforting after so much bad took place...and again with a white tulip.

Believe it or not, purple is actually not my favorite color.

As for news: On February 1st I'll be putting up the first "book" as a free PDF download with a zip of all the chapter illustrations for patrons.  Said book is 363 pages so hopefully you'll enjoy it.  It's prologue i - chapter 52, which is the first half of the overall story, so there's still quite a ways to go from here.  I thought it might be nice to have a sort of "convenience file" that can be kept as a whole and read offline if desired.  As an aside I'll be direct selling the file to non-supporters for $5-- hopefully that'll be seen as a fair price for 363 pages of text, 54 chapters, and 54 corresponding illustrations.

I'll be taking a week "break" between 52 and 53, posting something else on the 5th so you'll still get something nice even if it's not the next chapter quite yet.  There's a couple WIPs I have that I didn't have time for while working on chapter illustrations and commissions so I thought that the end of the first half of this big project would be an appropriate time to do so.  I hope you'll like what goes up!
