Production Update: “The Cost of Valor” (Season Premiere) (Patreon)

Good news, ladies and gents: the season seven premiere of TVE is almost finished in the dialogue cutter’s room, and will soon be passed over to Ethan Walsh for the final render. A huge thanks to Joshua Belmonte and Mike Tyson for helping this process go by so smoothly.

In the meantime, I’ve sent out the opening/closing narration to Phillip Sacramento, as well as up-to-date Patreon shoutouts since the release of our last episode (if new Dear Listeners join before its release, that will be updated as well).

It’ll be a dark one, though, detectives: Josh is centering The Cost of Valor around the very real issue of sexual assault within the military, so a pre-narration disclaimer will be read at the top this episode (something we haven’t done since The Watery Grave Case). Bunny will take center stage without Walter for the first two episodes of this season, so we’ll get to see how she handles cases from start to finish on her own expertise. It’s been a long wait, and we’re definitely due for some new action from our dynamic duo, so we hope you’re as excited as we are!
