BIG UPDATE: On Patron Charging (Patreon)

As I mentioned on my blog post a little while back, I am planning on slowing down my video creation process in order to make my videos top quality, and respond to what you guys have said you wanted in the Step Back Channel. That being said, I am aiming to make my videos come out as fast as I can at a quality I am happy with. I expect that videos will be roughly monthly, but know that many MANY more hours are going into each one.

So to put a point on this, I am changing my Patreon account to charge per creation. I am doing this because I am changing my pace of video creation, and I want you to reevaluate your pledge based on what you think a Step Back video is worth to you. I also cannot spam charges. You have the ability to set a monthly cap as well, which you are free to keep at the level you are pledging now, but this time, if I don't make a video, you don't have to pay.

I am open to answering any questions or comments you have on this change, but know that I am doing this in order to make our patron-artist relationship based on me producing results, rather then just time passing. I thank you all so much for helping me make Step Back a project, and being those that helped lay down the keystone for what I hope to be my career as a history communicator, showing the world why the past matters.

I have a video in production now, that will be by far the longest, and most work I have put into a video yet. My goal is to get it out by the 9th. I am really excited for it, and hope you all enjoy it.
