Weekly Update 9-3-2026 (Patreon)

Sunday day-time was a difficult one as I just couldn’t get into my archives to update things there before I started working on the Weekly Update.  It completely flattened out my will to work, thinking about how all my efforts may have been for naught if there was no way for me to share the results of my work.  Plus anxiety… man did I ever catastrophise.

Ultimately, I ended up sleeping the whole day off after swimming in the morning.   “Start again tomorrow, start again tomorrow,” was the mantra.

Fortunately, this morning of Monday 9th, the issue resolved itself when for whatever reason I was able to log back in.  So that’s why this Weekly Update now exists, although far later than I originally planned.

Maybe it was some sort of cosmic/karmic payback for something, I don’t know… or just plain bad luck.  My tablet’s been glitching out a bit too lately.

Anyway, update time.  Sorry Bronzaa Shines and Goldioss Sponsos (other than the poll results: https://www.patreon.com/posts/anketojie-guo-152590949), nothing to update.

However, Silverbeck Buffs, you got a lot…

And as a result, I’ll dial back on it for a while because it ended up eating up all my time last week.  I tried really hard to make it as visually interesting as possible so it’s not just talking heads.  Whether or not I’ve succeeded, that’s up to you to decide.

That aside, don’t forget the poll: https://www.patreon.com/posts/most-legendary-152526041

As for what I’m going to do this week?  I’m choosing to interpret Sunday’s scare as a sign I need to finish my two remaining commissions.  Not run away from my responsibilities, y’know?  And also return to my other neglected comics.  And one-offs, given we’re officially halfway through the month on Sunday and I already need to start next month’s poll.  Whew, a lot to do.

Two last things, got another unpleasant reminder of what’s to come in November, ala so:

And I have the very shrewd suspicion that everyone’s going to be jostled onto the new layout before too long as this popped up upon logging in today:

And I’m not sure whether I want to, or not; I like my current layout as is and I’m unsure if the new layout means I’ll have to retool the Weekly Update format again.

And er, that’s it – at least for the moment.  A lot of stuff going on at the minute, but fortunately, there hasn’t yet been any new unpleasant unexpected events involving this platform.  I’ll keep you posted.  Oh and the keys went out last week, as denoted here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/152320017

Thank you for reading, really appreciate it.

Yours as always,
