Comic #898: Off the Bench (Patreon)

I decided to use Gigz in this comic to create a bit of a callback to #877. It also worked out nicely to have her use her line from the first comic. I wanted her look in the end to look Donald-like without changing too much and making her look like a different person. In the end I realized all I needed to pull off the Donald look was round eyes looking in different directions, a round chin, and round teeth.

As I mentioned last week, this concept originated back in #822. At the time I decided not to create an arc around it, but I kind of regretted it later. This is my second chance.

For those wondering where Donald fits into all of this, I have some ideas to explore maybe next week. I haven't decided yet if he's benched himself, or if he managed to get himself a raid slot. We'll see.
