Comic #901: Roll the Dice (Patreon)
Content
I was halfway through making this comic when I realized it didn't need any dialogue. It originally had dialogue in every panel. I simply turned off all the text layers and the comic worked even better.
Here is the comic with the original dialogue:
At first I decided to remove the dialogue from the final panel, realizing it was unnecessary, I then realized it wasn't necessary from any of the panels.
The funny thing was I didn't even need to re-adjust the framing of the characters or anything. I only had to change one thing, and that is Keydar's expression in panel 5. Originally he was happily yelling "C'mon 1!" After the dialogue was gone I had to change his expression to make it clear he was booing her.
I've said this before, but I've found that my comics are always better if they can be done without dialogue. The reader has to insert their own interpretation and it always ends up funnier in my opinion.
