Funny timing with us being in a lull between expansions right now. Pre-expansion lulls were even worse in the early days of the game. From the date it looks like this was a month and a half before Wrath released.
I've mentioned this before, but this comic is another example of one of my favorite comic tropes where the final panel is a repeat of the first panel. Case in point. If you pay attention you'll see that I do this a lot. Sometimes if I have a good premise and can't think of a punchline, I see if there's a way for me to repeat the first panel in the end. Doesn't always work.
Reading that Gigz was saving old mats for skill-ups in a new expansion is wild to me. I had completely forgotten that we used to be able to do that. That could never happen now.
I love that gnome on a spit panel. Perfect mixture of horror and comedy. Makes me want to bring it back in a Gigz cooking comic. Would be a fun callback.
Donald here is clearly dead set on being a fury warrior. Given in the future I decided to reveal that he was really a priest all along, I'm gonna just say this comic is his wishful thinking, he still has no idea what talents are, here probably just overheard some other warrior talking about their spec. Also, I have no memory if that giant mace he's holding is based on anything in-game. Does that look familiar to any of you? The sword looks very similar to the GM sword he was holding in one of his first appearances.
