Comic #984: One Button (Patreon)

I know this mechanic has been in the game a few months, but I only recently discovered it. As soon as I saw it in the spellbook I thought of Donald. I also immediately thought that it would be entirely possible that Donald would outdamage me with one button.

With the game constantly working to be more and more accessible, maybe Donald actually has a chance. I actually think the single-button mechanic is a great addition to the game and a good way to help people learn their classes. It also makes for an easy way to get back into alts I haven't played in ages.

I'm glad I managed to sneak in the vanilla mage rotation joke, which is actually a joke I've made before in #704.

Donald being a priest has been a very long running joke all the way back from #354, but every time I make a comic showing Donald as a priest I get comments from confused readers. So when I make a comic showing his class color, or his talents, spells, etc, I always try to make it as minimally distracting as possible. For example, in the first panel, I considered showing his whole spellbook in the background, but decided against it.
