Comic #163: Haircut (Patreon)

The barbershop was another addition to the Wrath pre-patch in October of 2008.

This was a fun one to do just because I was able to squeeze in a bunch of easter egg pop culture references into Keydar's various looks. Other than the mullet/cornrows and basic brown recolor, these are the references I think I was going for:

Super Saiyan

Bob Ross

Emo

Salvidor Dali maybe?

This type of comic is one of my favorites to do. I spend 90% of my time on the first panel, of which the rest of the comic is basically just a minor variation. I drew an entire barbershop, along with a goblin and a barber chair, and then just made minor alterations to Keydar's hair.

This was also one of many times I made a joke about how Keydar and Krom are basically one haircut away from looking the same. Some other examples that come to mind would be #448 and #897.
