Comic #179: The Oracle (Patreon)

Man, look at 2009 me go. I drew a gorlok, a couple chickens, a jungle... I'm so proud of past me. One thing that stood out to me that irks me a bit is the shading on the final panel. The background is lit from light on the right side of frame, but Farmer Saldean is lit from the left. Not only that, but his shadow is being cast to the right, which INTERSECTS with the shadow of the edge of his house, which is being cast to the LEFT. Ugh. Unreadable.

Other than that nitpick, I like this one. It's nice and simple and clever, and even though the mechanics in question are pretty outdated, I'm pretty sure most readers can piece it together (especially with the aid of Wowhead).

This was another Wrath of the Lich King mechanic, but it still exists. Mysterious Egg is a real thing, which Geen sells for 2.5 gold. It's unique, so you can only have one at a time. After 3 days of real time, the egg hatches and contains either a pet, a rare mount, or worthless aged yolk.

It's a bit hard to tell in the original image, but Geen is holding a grocery bag filled with egg cartons. Here's a higher rez image:
