Man, this one really suffers from in-game mechanical changes, which is a shame because I really like this one, and it still works with an edited punchline. For example, if I were to remake it today, I might have Narya say, "Good thing we don't have to see a trainer anymore to respec!" or something like that.

Prior to Wrath, if you wanted to respec your talents you had to speak to a trainer and pay gold. It cost more and more gold each time up to a max. Wrath introduced Dual spec, which allowed you to hold two different specs at once, which you could swap between at will. Eventually this was replaced by the current system where you can just swap between all specs at will.

I looked in the original image file and found the following disabled layer lying at burnt Miji's feet:

Clearly my initial intention was to have Miji spill his drink. I must have not originally intended to have Narya ice his drink after the fact. Either way, it's a lot funnier with Miji's charred corpse still holding the glass.

Here's a higher rez image of Miji's charred corpse.

I remember being so proud of myself for using textures in Photoshop to make the sand and water. Looking back on it, I'm not a big fan. Probably would have looked better if I just added some little black dots here and there in the sand with my brush, and a couple simple waves in the water.

Mhm I was pretty mad when in Legion they let us switch between all specs freely but also introduced various mechanics that meant we couldn't actually play off-specs (not for the first half of the expansion anyway).
