Comic #195: On the Run (Patreon)

I wonder if Cousin It from The Addams Family was an inspiration here for Narya's final form. Sorry, I mean Rutger. I forgot about Rutger. I should have had that reference come back somewhere as an easter egg. Maybe in the time travel arc I could have had him pick Rutger instead of Harry.

This was one of those strange arcs where it's hard to decide when it starts and when it ends. A lot of it wasn't so much an arc as several references and story points that continued from one comic to another. Such as Miji's tail, Narya's hair, Marmalade, Gretta and Horace, etc.

I had completely forgotten about Miji and his tail. Drawing that thing was a pain in the butt (pun intended). It wasn't so much drawing the actual tail, but the logistics of having a tail not interfere with other items in the frame or him sitting down, etc. I can't believe I kept Miji with a tail for so many comics. I couldn't remember how I decided to get rid of it, so I looked ahead all the way to comic #250, and it turns out I just stopped drawing it with zero explanation.
