Comic #202: Kabobs (Patreon)

I always managed to sneak in a Gigz' kitchen into these early arcs. Also, am I crazy or did I make the characters too small for the background? I feel like Gigz could easily fit into those massive cupboards in the background.

I miss some of the throwaway jokes in these early comics. It was a lot easier to fit those in when I had so many panels. Miji's dad joke about his uncle Les especially. I also completely forgot I ever had Miji refer to a relative here. I could have snuck Les in as an easter egg in the whole time travel arc.

I gotta give myself credit, those are some good looking dishes. The tauren burger in particular looks pretty appetizing.

I can't 100% remember, but "Human bean" must have been a reference to Roald Dahl's The BFG, which was one of my favorite books as a kid.

Also, the Kabob raider should have made further appearances. I could have easily put them into the background of some random raid encounter without explanation just for fun. That would have been cute. I'll probably sneak it into a bonus panel when I finally climb my way to the 200s.
