I based the look of Narya's Simbot after the Whirlwind computer developed by MIT in the late 40s.

My comics used to be a pretty consistent 11 panels (6 rows of panels more specifically). I noticed that sticking to the 11 panel format was leading to a lot of filler that wasn't always useful or funny, so I stopped trying to force myself into a certain number of panels.

However, the downside was I stopped having as many of those dumb little jokes halfway through a comic. I liked those dumb little jokes. If I wanted to I could have started this week's comic at panel 5, but then Donald wouldn't have been turned into a sheep.

I'll try to strike a better balance.

Dumb jokes are good. Please do those as long as you got them in mind!

We must have Donald the Sheep adventures.

Adventures of a dumb sheep with a CAT t-shirt? That could be fun :-)

I was half expecting the machine's output to recommend Keydar's raiding behaviour (as previously shown in the comic): "ignore mechanics".
