Comic #714: Down on the Upgrade (Patreon)

Animating those notes was a pain.

This was a weird occasion where the direction of the joke was determined by rhyming. I picked a guitar for this comic because it rhymed with "star". I had a few corruption effects I could have gone with. Twilight Devastation had entirely too many syllables for rhyming, and Echoing Void didn't have any fitting rhymes. Humanoid? Steroid? Annoyed? Hemorrhoid??

Hopefully nobody blames me for giving her a one-handed guitar which is clearly a two-hander. Let's just say she got a pick offhand.

Also, the title is a reference to the 1996 Soundgarden album, "Down on the Upside".
