For those of you not playing or not aware of the recent patch, new gear can roll with corruption on it. These pieces offer some very strong new abilities, but they will also increase your corruption. Corruption causes negative effects when in combat, so it becomes a tradeoff. Additionally corruption creates a visual effect on your character (hence the final panel). So effectively, Keydar said, "Screw it", and equipped all three.

I purposely picked really gaudy colors for his gear choices because I wanted to make sure readers could instantly tell he was wearing all three pieces in the final panel. I really wanted a tentacle to come out of his eyeball. I hope it doesn't look too weird.

Keydar's dialogue in the final panel is a bit of an homage to this comic, the first two panels of which have become a pretty popular meme template.
