The corpse sliding bug was present in vanilla, I think it might have been gone by TBC. Rarely when a player died, especially and maybe exclusively in PVP, while running, their corpse would slide across the ground as if they were still in motion. I do call back to this bug much later in the Patchwork story line.

I found an earlier draft of this comic on the Photoshop file. I think the final version is miles better. The old version even has a weird CSI reference for no reason. Judge for yourself:

I think at this point in the game the corpse sliding bug was gone, and I was worried people wouldn't understand the joke. It tended to only happen when someone died very quickly.
