It's Max!

Now that I mention it, I can't recall the last time I used him in a comic. It feels like years. I used him pretty heavily in the early days. He's a big part of the NPC rebellion story line. There has been a bit of a running theme in these comics with NPCs either being incredibly powerful or horribly oppressed. Max of course being the former. I guess it all comes down to whether the NPC can be killed or not.

It's also interesting how little relevance has been lost on this specific comic. Armor repairs are still a huge part of the game. Maybe less now with guild repairs being an option.

I dunno. I think Max has had a hard time of it lately. He's always been a very gold focused character and I can easily see him getting annoyed with players trying to buy stuff with pearls, corrupted mementos, war resources, seafarer dubloons, pet charms, the other pet charms, marks of honor, those things you get from assaults.... Gold has become almost irrelevant, unless you're looking to buy a brutosaur.

Do you feel like it? I mean, the proportion of armor repair costs proportioned to revenance suffered a pretty big drop since Burning Crusade. I don't know, it doesn't bother me as much anymore. I just have an addon that does it automatically every time I speak with the vendor. And I don't even have a guild. My friends just stopped playing and I'm in one of those guilds that send you requests when they see you guildless, mostly just for diminishing the hearthstone cooldown.
