Comic #723: Visions (Patreon)

I really felt like doing a silly comic with no major punchline. Plus I had not done a sadistic Gigz chef style comic in a while. Something about Gigz pushing around an ancient evil old god from the beyond tickled me.

Believe it or not, it took me a while to settle on the design of N'zoth's speech bubbles. At first I tried black text on yellow, which looked weird. White background outlined with black, but again, it looked off. The only issue with the black background on the speech bubble is that my general inking is black, so if the speech bubble lies on top of any of the characters, it becomes really hard to see. So I had to make sure I placed it in an empty spot on the frame. I also lightened Nzoth. You can see that the inking on Nzoth is not pure black if you compare it to Gigz.

For you font lovers out there, the evil speech is the Blambot font "Deathrattle".

Gigz' face in the last frame is a bit of a callback to the final panel of #613.
