The last time Max appeared in a comic was nearly a decade ago in #315. I had to update his look a bit.

This animation wasn't too complicated. The animation itself is only four frames and it is restricted to the legs and tail. I thought about having the entire dinosaur move, but given there are only 4 frames, I didn't want Gigz bouncing around to the point that you couldn't make out her expression.

This comic also had a different narrative originally, though the final panel was always the same.  Originally I had it from the point of view of an NPC trying really hard to get indestructible gear which inevitably would be used on fencing. When it occurred to me I could have a player vendor it, it worked much better. I also removed all the secondary stats from the staff tooltip. I wanted to "Indestructible" text to stand out.

It's great to see Max again, and that last comic he was in was legit! This new one is really great too. It has a combined, unique take on two familiar gameplay elements, and is made even more precious with that adorable, perplexed looking Brutosaur.

That's actually one of the most hilarious comics ever. And it will remain actual forever! Great job! Although.. Now that I think of it, the price of those fences starts to worry me, as well as the price of actually building anything there.
