Comic #730: Off Guard (Patreon)

I almost called this one "Come out and Play", but I was worried it would spoil the joke.

I didn't really have a good comic idea yesterday and I was sitting around trying to think of what to do. It is generally harder at the end of expansions to come up with ideas, because there is little new content. So I decided to just draw something fun today, and not worry too much about the punchline.

For a while I've wanted to revisit Illidan since the end of Legion, and kept not really knowing what to do.  I've also mentioned many times how much I enjoy making Velen & Illidan comics, so that fit.

You may notice that Illidan's pose in panel #4 is reused from #597. It wasn't entirely laziness, I really just love that pose (hence the use of the image in my patreon). I struggled drawing Illidan's wings in the final panel, they kept clipping with his body, or with Velen, adding confusion to the frame. Hence the silhouette.
