Correct me if I'm misremembering, but I believe some of the best weapons in BC were obtained from ratings in PVP. Because of this, a lot of primary PVE players, such as myself, did far more arena than we had any business doing. I dreaded those 10 games. So much disappointment. It was basically just a game of musical chairs where each match we would determine which one of us was the most useless.

The tree notation I used, such as "19/42/0", referred to how many talent points were spent in each tree. This is not as obscure a reference now thanks to Classic. So at this point it looks like I had 19 points in assassination, and 42 in combat. I'm curious for those of you who are classic players if any of those other talent tree builds listed in the comic even make sense.

Also, this joke that Donald had no idea what a talent tree was would eventually make a comeback in #354.

Of cause! Gogz is Disc/Holy, and Narya is Fire! Yeah, TBC was the only expansion where I did PVP. For exactly same reason. Rogue-Mage-Priest was quite a thing back then!

Yep, I too remember slogging through the mandatory 10 weekly arena matches as a PvEer having no idea what I was doing because there were potential upgrades, some bosses like Naj'entus favored swapping some PvP gear in to have more health and the medallion trinket was mandatory for Rage Lootchill. Good times. Got feared through a wall in the Blade's Edge arena once and ended up slightly under the world with all the surface textures not applied. Opposing team (who had wiped out all my teammates) refused to give up, so had to go find a cliff to hurl myself off of to end the game.
