Comic #762: Dazed and Confused (Patreon)

There are a few callbacks in this comic. You may recognize Miji & Narya's rocket mounts from #452. The NPCs attacking Narya are obviously the same as a couple comics back in #760. Also, in comic #742 I also used a mount window with some joke mount names.

I had a hard time creating Miji's pose in panel 3, so as I have in the past, I used myself as a model. This time by sitting on a kitchen chair and taking a picture of myself making the pose.

I also was about to post this comic when I re-read it and realized I really needed to have a release window in the final panel. The reason why is a bit hard for me to explain.

The final panel has to convey a joke, and sometimes that joke can be a little spoiled based on the contents of the panel and how the reader's eye moves. When we look at the final panel, we read it from top to bottom. You will see Miji and his comment first, and see Narya's corpse last. I want people to recognize that Narya was dead first, and the release window helps to do that.

Ideally I wanted that release window to be in the center of the frame, but it looks wrong if it isn't directly above Narya's corpse.
