Each of these characters are from previous comics, though I think this is the first time I've officially given them names. Angst is from #708 and #727. Toxic and Douche of course have been in dozens of comics over the years. Pal is from #721, where he gave up on tanking, but I like the idea that since that comic he's settled for healing.

I included Donald in the DPS queue as a small easter egg. He of course has the highest ilvl from mooching in raid, but Keydar knows better than to invite him.

I was able to get away with only having one piece of dialogue in the entire comic thanks to the interface panel. I like when I can stuff a ton of exposition into the user interface. Even the tank leaving the group feels like part of the interface since it's a chat system message.

I tried to communicate the passage of time by having the sun set in the background. In my early comics I would show passage of time by having extra panels, like keydar waiting for the egg to hatch in #179 for example.

I have to ask : Why does the DK have a shield ?

I haven't played in years but the idea of DPS starting groups always seemed ridiculous. Sure, some people have friends and I get that part but if you're solo, starting a group seems like it would guarantee disaster: 1. it will take forever and 2. you'll only get the people who are willing to join other groups. My guild tanks would never join LFGs -- they always started fresh groups so avoid those "joining a wipe-fest already in progress" type of things. But then again, LFG never really made sense either -- just made the dungeons a totally optional part of the leveling process so no one knew what they were doing at max. /shrug

I always assume that someone upset over stats and leaves first is at fault for wiping

Oh, Keydar. Double rogue on Storming week? Terrible idea.
