Comic #787: Challenge (Patreon)

There was a lot more I wanted to joke about in last week's comic, but had to cut out. Challenge vs. Inconvenience was one of those things. I think I might do one more next week, because I like trilogies, we'll see.

I had two versions of the final panel in my mind. The dialogue was the same in both, but the alternate version had Marda smiling blissfully and Nyte frustrated. I decided to make Marda more sympathetic and sad with Nyte comforting her. It felt like a much funnier mirror for our relationship with the game. It was also originally "I know" in the final panel, but changing it to "we" made it feel a lot more meta about the playerbase.
