This comic is partly autobiographical only in the sense that I ran a lot of arena in TBC and I was TERRIBLE at it. I also hated it, again because I was terrible at it. In those days you really had to PVP if you wanted the best weapons in the game, so I put up with it.

I'm pretty sure I used my Yoda drawing from two comics earlier to help me draw this goblin. The ears look suspiciously similar.

I was a very good arena healer but I'm pretty sure I was the worst mage in the entire world in there.

I remember the days of 5 people who all hated PvP and were trash at it coming together a day before reset to run the minimum number of games you needed to do to get some loot. Can't remember what for, but the medallion (to get out of Rage Winterchill's stun) was one of them. Those were the days. Completely unlike when I had to do arenas to get the Conflict and Strife essence which happened to be BiS for PvE content, and unlike all the times I had to do arenas to get the medallion because it was the BiS trinket for my spec.
