Comic #816: Bounty (Patreon)

I wanted to continue the low level questing from the previous comic, so I literally rerolled a new alt in Elwynn forest and started questing. When I came upon this old quest the idea came to me.

Originally, the main idea was much more focused around the 8 Torn Murloc Fins you need from the murlocs. You can literally loot Murloc Fins, but they don't count. In the end I instead went the silly protest angle, and had to cut the Murloc Fin reference. So in the end I shoehorned it into the quest dialogue in panel 4.

In case you want to know what Gigz' sign says, it's literally just "Fuck" at the top and "Asshole" at the bottom with words to fill the space in between. I figured the only two words partially visible in Gigz' sign should be swear words. I did want to have Donald in there too with a sad face sign, but I ended up not being able to make room.

One of the reasons that I went with the protest joke in the end was because I thought it would be a fun reversal on the NPC rebellion early on in the comics.
