Comic #815: Reroll (Patreon)

Like with #814, I wanted to use a real quest from in-game.  In this case it's the starting quest for humans in Northshire. I also wanted to use real armor. Nyte's initial garb is the starting warrior armor, and her final garb is the heirloom Might set.

This comic originally spawned from the idea of doing a series of comics involving a character leveling up from level 1. I kind of discarded the series idea somewhere along the way.

I've done some other comics involving messed up addons and taking forever to pick a build, but I wanted to do one specifically about how long it takes me to kill my first mob after first creating a character. I swear it takes me at least an hour. I wanted to view that hour from the perspective of the first quest NPC.

Drawing that armor in all those poses for both characters took FOREVER. I could have done a better job recreating Northshire for the background, but this comic was taking me so long already that I got lazy.
