I was reminded of one of my favorite comics that I have done (#558) a few weeks ago after seeing this Reddit post. I've also seen posts involving people getting booted for being the "wrong spec".

I wanted to bring back the sourpuss character from #848, and then when I started drawing the comic this morning, I realized I had made him a mage in that comic. So I decided to just give him a warrior alt instead. Still works.

I read a ton of Calvin and Hobbes growing up, and it's always been a huge inspiration for my work. This punchline really tickled me when I thought of it, and for some reason it reminded me of Calvin and Hobbes.

I don't have time to go through every C&H comic to see if there was one in particular this might be similar to, but I guarantee if there is one, Narya would be Calvin here, and Nyte Hobbes. Something about Narya getting up on a soapbox and so vehemently opposing something, Nyte pointing out a flaw in his logic with an insulting premise, and Narya completely accepting the premise but denying the argument.

Anyway, if any of you know a comic in particular my subconscious might have been pulling from, I'd be interested to see it.

Agree -- that's totally a C&H moment in the last frame. I imagined you were going to go after a "But aren't you like 40th percentile?" or similar, but I think the general "But you suck" is better. (Also her expression sells it.)

I feel this, lol. I'm back to playing WoW but in another game at that time (Lineage 2) has a massive "bring the class, not the player" problem too.
