Comic #856: Rare Spawn (Patreon)

You may have noticed by now that I have a strong penchant for comics that end exactly as they started.

This comic has a similar premise to #598. I'm sure we have all related to the premise in this comic at one time or another, but the new zone especially has a lot of underground rares inside tunnels, and this was my experience hunting them down.

The rare locations on the map in this comic are both real rares. The first one is in a rocky cave, while the second one shown in the final panel is located at the end of a long elite underground tunnel that starts about halfway up the map shown.

Funny enough, most of my time making this comic involved trying to draw that damned elite rare icon on the map. It kept turning out awful looking. In the end I just shrunk it down a bit and hoped the poor resolution would save me. I think I got away with it.
