Man, I had to rack my brain trying to think of the most annoying low level quest. I had originally thought about doing goretusk liver pies or the basilisk brains quest or something, but I wanted to make sure I picked a quest that still existed in game, and was still unchanged from its original form.

Hopefully enough people will remember this quest for the punchline to be funny. I made sure to include enough quest text itself to remind people if they've forgotten. I'm also hoping with TBC classic more people will have been exposed to it.

For those that don't remember, this quest required you to follow Khadgar's servant on a tour around shattrath and it took what felt like a lifetime.

Also, I had no memory that Khadgar gave this quest until I looked it up, which worked out perfectly considering I drew him only a few weeks ago for #858.

Eh. I'unno. Following the little arcane elemental around never seemed that bad.

Damn I hate this 😂 I can relate so much, what bugger me the most is that you can’t really chose a Shattrath faction until you complete this quest

Oh gosh I remember this one, the servant is slow and talks a lot, but in text. It's easy to miss when he's done or if he's still droning on.

LOL I hate this one, the world's worst tour guide (in 4 worlds!)

Is the basilisk brain not in the game anymore? I sold a few of those, and snicker fang jowls, and something or other livers on the AH for a couple thousand gold last week. Of course, someone also bought a stack of war torn leather that hasn’t been used since vanilla for almost 150k gold right after I came back. Still waiting for someone to buy the cloth, chain, and plate.

The Shattrath introductory quest was not the most annoying quest in WOW history, but it comes close.
