This idea has been sitting in my idea queue for a while now. I make this mistake constantly. Hopefully the rest of you are as dumb as I am and can relate.

Until this morning though the premise was the same, the execution was completely different:

I was going to have a history book image of Khadgar fighting Medivh, then Nyte, looking in the history book was going to comment about how "They don't make heroes like this anymore". Then she was going to read another page which showed something very similar to the final panel of the actual comic, Khadgar reading the text for his quest, which had a quest item (Lothar's sword). The sword's effect would read: "Use: Impale Medivh with Lothar's sword, greatly weakening him".

When I woke up this morning, I had a fear that I had just done a comic like this. I went back and found the last history comic I did. And it's pretty much IDENTICAL. The punchline involving the quest item is different, but the entire premise is the same. So I panicked and made a more straightforward version.

I spent about half the time on the first panel. I really struggled trying to find the perfect stances for both characters. I tried looking up reference images, but none of them really showed what I was looking for. So I set up a camera and took pictures of myself looking like a complete jackass with my kid's toy sword.

I want you to know that me sharing these embarrassing reference images of myself are a testament to how much I appreciate you:

Excellent references, I love it. But also, the theoretical strip with Khadgar using a quest item for his epic victory would've been hilarious. Maybe find another way to spin that idea?

Those reference photos are perfect. Magical, even.

Ahaha, I love the reference photo!

And we all appreciate you! Although I can not remember to have failed at such quests my constant error is when doing a quest that requires to use an item on mobs to extract something from them. I realize this only after the tenth mob killed.

It's rare I make this mistake. I usually use the "how much K of life does this mob have" system to evaluate if I can solo them. If the quest mob life is too high, or if there are multiple mobs whose fights last more than 5 minutes, I read the quest.

Guardian Druid. I complain after it takes 15m to kill them or if I actually had to use self-heals etc. the worst ones are when you don’t even get credit if you don’t use the mcguffin to do the job.
