Voted for #1 - the look on your face in #1 is the best embodiment of the song, in my opinion. Your expression in the other shots is a bit more severe for the message of this song. I like the font choice. I kinda like the thumbnail for the preview screening, but I do understand that more closeup shots of your face do better.

Lutra2732

Oh what a difficult choice, I like 1, 2 and 5!

Tine

5, 6 and 4 are my favorites of the bunch. I really like the font you chose

Amanda Nott

I feel like the brightness on most of them is distracting or makes it look sort of washed out, so I like #1 and 2 the best because the brightness doesn't seem so overwhelming.

Mardette

6, six, ......, really 6

Crisstina Joubert

The pop of colors in Thumb 1 is very nice, but your expression (and seeing you play the piano) in Thumb 4 is wonderful!❤️

Jeanette Pencz

Oh so many wonderful options and so hard to choose only one 🥺 I voted for -2- because I like the look on your face in this one (dreamy)

Silv E

There's something about #5, it feels very contemplative. I like the 3/4 angle.

Katrina Greely

I voted for 1 because of the pop of color with the greenery and chair. Helps downplay the glare, which is hard on my eyes.

Lori Templeman

I like #3 if you cropped out some of the white curtain behind you, (your profile would more or less be at the one-third point) or #1 if you cropped out the plant and stand (thinking of how tiny the thumbnail will be).

Mikki Fullerton

We like the warmer lighting of one and two best. Some of the others are bit too washed out. I like the vase in the corner with the greenery in one and the angle that shows more face, but daughter likes the side angle of two better and points out it also has some green in the other corner.

Chris Benefield

Im partial to #1 or #5. The light reflection in the window and on the piano gives me a dream like feel. Which to me, fits the motif of the song lyrics. But I do like the wider shot better cause of the plant.

Filiz E

voted for 5, but I also loved the 1st one..

Sue Armstrong

I voted for #1, but #3 is a close second.

Catherine King

#3 & #5 match the expression on the original Lenon's face. At first, I was trying to find out why you wanted a deadpan look, but after looking at the original, I see why. Also, the original video is in a room with bright windows around the piano so I can see why you chose what you did.

Karen Campbell

I picked #1. The soft light filtering through the window is lovely and the splash of colour from the vase is the perfect finishing touch.

Martina Kraft

Hard to choose. I voted for #2. But it was between #2 and #5. I like both.

Pat R

Hard decision, they're all good but this one is my fave.

Scott Pearce

its not an easy choice but I finally made my decision

Blue Raven

#4 - I really like the light ethereal look and you playing the piano - but - all the pictures could use a little tweaking. I'll message you a link to tweaked versions, so you can see, what I mean.

Karin Wolf

5 - just because...🥰

Cloudy Skies

I like them all except the one that shows that the piano has no pedals

Amanda Hovendon

I feel like thumbnail #5 is just aesthetically pleasing, but I would change the font a little bit to maybe cursive or the hand written font. And maybe change the opacity or go for a softer tone than solid black

Marie DesJardin

1 - I love the entreating expression on your face, as if you're inviting the viewer to imagine a better world

Barbara Binney

I voted for #1. The others look too washed out with that bright glare from the window.

Hunter

I did it! I think…

DocSavage

Lots from which to choose—but I kept going back to #4. Geoff, you look like you are imaging, somewhat wistfully, somewhat hopefully somewhat meditatively as if in doing so, we humans could actually make your imaginings a reality. But what would it take to make that happen . . .

Jacky Friedman

My thumbnails didn't download in order so don't know which is which. Only 4 downloaded. I chose #1 in the poll but don't know if it's correct. My favorite that did download is the one where you're looking straight ahead. Although a thicker font would would be good. Not much thicker though. This is my favorite song by John Lennon. So beautiful. And love your version as well.

Lana

It was difficult to decide between #1 and #5. In the end, the clean style won. The pure shining whiteness that symbolizes imagination, peace and dreams, desires, purity. The subtle outline of the piano is the simplicity of the font, which is immediately apparent... and the slightly dreamy look. It's like you're looking into an imaginary distance... I think this image fits the song very well.

Kourtney Frantz

#2 I love the look of a grand piano. The setting is so serene, the lines, the lightness, the soft light lets you know something beautiful is happening… and Geoff is very handsome and wistful looking here. In the minority, but me fav.🥰

KorKnot

I voted for #3. You looking up as you are fits what I think is the perfect imagine look. Hope this makes sense.

Ilona Dever

Because the song is so personally reflective and you appear more pensive, I chose number 5.

Beth Comer

I voted for #3. Many of the other shots appeared pensive, while that one looked hopeful, and hope is what I associate with Imagine.

Angela Scheiber

I love #3 - light, expression, looking upwards dreaming yourself into a new hopeful future

Rahel

#2...

Marie Galaxy

#1 for me. Love the piano, the decorative greenery and the hopeful, imaginative look on your face. Perfection! 😺💜💚

Shirley B Karr

Tough choice! I like hands on keys of #4 but find the overexposed background too harsh. #1 has warm tones, flattering pic of you, and I'm not distracted wondering why the piano has no foot pedals.

Tara Congo

The filenames of the photos had the correct # in them (e.g., Imagine Thumbnail 4 = Thumb 4 in the poll)

ANITA M WRIGHT

I chose #1 because you look like you're imagining in your mind how it would be, and the picture is much clearer.

Ashley Evers

You have given us too many options 🤣 I can't tell if my eye is drawn to #4 cause it's the most grabbing, or just cause it's different than the others. Also, haven't you decided that we are untrustworthy yet? 🤣

Sarah Martin

I picked #5, because it looks like you are in deep thought. I didn't like #1 because your mouth is slightly open, and it looks like you were in the middle of saying something when they took the picture. Just my opinion😊

DMCARP

#5 my pick. Several other have orange corner distraction, and with entire piano in view that is close to copy of early J Lennon poster at piano with white backgd. ---1971

Lady Payne

I made sure to look at them small. #5 for me, but #1 would be my second choice

Barbara Symens

I like #5 but you need to take some of the brightness in the background and warm it up a little. The bright white doesn’t do you or the photograph any favors in any of the shots. It actually makes you look washed out a bit. No matter which one you pick please bring some warmth into it. This is a song that exudes warmth and love. I know John’s version had the white curtains but if you look closely at the old videos of the song there are multiple beige tones and even some yellow hues in the picture, and there was no sun streaming through on John himself or the piano. Geoff, you look and sound good in everything but I really wish you would start doing some original material. You can convey everyone else’s style with great skill and your vocal range is beyond compare, but you could really be something special if you were writing your own music, or having someone write it for you. Just my opinion, but I worked for a music company in Los Angeles for a long time and in doing so learned a lot about what sets musicians apart from the rest. You are right on the edge of being ridiculously famous or just another guy with a great voice. Go for it!

Suzy Bailey

#1 is the best for me. Mainly because the planter adds a little warmth and colour which is sorely lacking in the other shots! 👍💜🇬🇧

Shellee Roe

#1 it has the best use of all your negative space. It’s more balanced.

Lexy Wolfe (aka Pam)

I like #5 because it's more a 3/4 view than a profile one and not too zoomed out. For what it's worth.

Randiskye

In the minority here but I like #3. Your attitude in this pic looks more hopeful, which is very much in line with the message of the song. Just my take.

Amy Petty

Out of all of them, the images in 2 and 3 are my favorites, with 3 coming out on top because I like your hands being visible. HOWEVER, I hate how over-exposed they are. So ultimately I chose #6. If you had the level of exposure for that one on 3, then #3 would be my choice.

Susie Q

#1. Geoff looks awesome no matter what but i like the balance of #1. no real reason other than i get the feel of that one more. Barbara is right about doing your own songs but depends on what you want to do. we'll support you regardless. being incredibly famous doesn't leave a lot of room for family, friends or time to yourself. i like your covers cause i already know the songs and i prefer your take on most of them - plus, i can sing along easily. with your range you could do anything. You are SO talented - pure entertainment. I can't offer the level of expertise the others have written because i know virtually nothing about lighting, exposure, etc...:-) so, my choice is what moves me best:-)

Virginia Small

In some of them you look like you're about to cry. I picked #1.

Lenita Schofield

If you could make a dvd of you doing all your songs that would be awesome. Half of the feelings are what you look like when singing
