Monthly Subscription Billing (Patreon)

Hey Y’all! 

Some of you may have heard that Patreon is doing away with “per creation” billing and they are moving all creators over to monthly subscription billing. I wanted to get in here and give you a little more information on what that will look like here on my channel.

For starters, I am not raising any prices. All of my tiers will remain exactly the same as they are now and at the same monthly pledge. Since I typically only charge once a month anyway, this won't be much of a change.

What monthly subscription billing means for you:

-If you’re a current patron. you will continue to be charged on the 1st of each month.

-Any new patrons will be charged on the day they sign up, and then again on that same day each month

-You’ll still receive all of your perks as usual. At some point I’m hoping to add a few new things that won’t be tied specifically to video releases, but for the time being, everything will remain the same. 

What this means for me:

-I won’t be held down to the dreaded end-of-the-month deadline anymore. For example, if it takes me an extra week or so to finish a project, I can just release it to you at any time. This allows a little more breathing room to my creation process. Hopefully it will give me the stress relief I’ve been looking for, and will help me to focus more on being creative, and less on hitting that strict deadline every 30th or 31st of each month. (Or sometimes the 28th, or every 4 years the 29th) Anyway, I still plan to put out content regularly per usual. 

-I’ll also be able to pepper in some short content at random whenever I feel inclined to do so. (I've got a few fun ones up my sleeve, coming soon).

This should be a pretty seamless transition, fingers and toes crossed. As always, I appreciate all of your support and I look forward to keeping this train rolling right along. Thanks for being here everyone!
