Thanks for the update! Yeah, if you're not accustomed to such weather, such a shift can really throw a wrench into plans! That's okay though - I'm patient. :) Up here in northern Canada, our seat warmers get used daily, probably 8 months out of the year. As the Beatles said, "Happiness is a warm bum."

I didn't appreciate a butt warmer until I had leather seats. It always felt like I was sitting on a warmed toilet seat..... However, now with a back injury I appreciate it VERY much!! Also, when it's very cold (like we have been having in PA with highs around 20), I have also gotten to LOVE my starting wheel warmer!!!!

We nordic people know all about Butter heter. There are even cars that come equipped with heated steering wheels, to prepare and warm up bassy hands for an outdoor shot., if needed. Take care in your unusual cold.

Yep, gotta love the butt heater. I actually use mine in the summer with my AC on those long 7 1/2 hour drives down to Orlando for my poor old back. Here in Athens, GA. it has snowed twice this month. We get snow once just about every other year but twice in one month is just a tad too much for this southern gal. Hubby's family got it in south Ga. and they were not sure what to do, I think it might be the first time in 20 years or longer.

No worries. Totally understand. I'm in Memphis TN and we were having snow and ice for several weeks. Very unusual for us as we usually only get snow for a week. Now it's no snow but still in the mid 30s. And yes. We have butt heaters in my daughter's minivan. Between that and the amazing heater it's been very nice going to my Dr appointments (only times I go out). Looking forward to when you're able to film and release your new video. The short you guys just released is absolutely beautiful.

I am spoiled in my car since I also live in the South...not only a seat heater but also a seat cooler, which gets much more use. Leather seats are also a misery in August when the vehicle is blazing hot from being parked in the sun. Seat cooling is just as wonderful. This week has been ridiculously cold so the heater has been appreciated. My granddaughter is too young for the front seat so she told me this week that my next car needed heated seats in the back too LOL.

It's like 0 degrees here....so you bet I have my cheeks on the warmer in the car.....i am not sure i would call it magical angel but to everyone it's own.... You know what us just as good? Steering wheel warmer! Helps me hold on to the wheel without snapping my fingers off.....🥶

Geoff, since you claim to be older than dirt, you should be informed that the butt warmer also doubles as a heating pad for sore low backs (and butts). I've been known to use mine in the summer when I'm sore. Otherwise, stay warm! I'm happy that we've gotten into positive digits for temps here in Wisconsin.

I live 90 minutes north of the FL/GA state line near Savannah. We got 3 inches of snow 3 days ago. EVERYTHING shut down for 2 days. Businesses, gas stations, grocery stores....only hospitals, nursing homes, and EMT/LE stations were open. Schools are still closed. This isn't like up north where we had salt, chemicals, trucks, and plows to treat the roads. They have no infrastructure here to deal with this amount of snow. We have to wait until it melts or - in urban areas - until they can dump sand on the ice/snow on the road in hopes it keeps people from ending up in ditches and kissing trees with the front of their vehicles. Today I had to go to a suburb of Savannah to drop off my sick sewing machine. It took an extra hour to get there and back because people here don't know how to drive on snow and seem to think it's gonna reach out from between their tires and grab their cars. A jacked-up 4X4 truck going 35 mph in a 70 zone? Are you kidding me? Please....if you don't know how to drive in this, stay home. You will be safer -- and so will those of us who know what we're doing because we spent a lifetime doing it.

My butt heaters are awesome! But I live in Alaska so they get used A LOT! We've had unseasonably WARM temps this winter which is extremely weird. It's basically like we flip-flopped with the "Lower 48" as we call the other states!

Thanks for the update, Geoff. Bad weather is always a legitimate out. I was stationed at NAS Jacksonville in the early 70s, and one January, while walking probably to the chow hall, a friend and I were stunned to suddenly be surrounded by a light flurry of snowflakes. It actually accumulated to perhaps a couple of inches, it just didn't last very long. What a surprise that was! Looking forward to your next video, as always.

You know what's better than a seat heater? A steering wheel heater! Not an option I was looking for, but when I bought a used vehicle 5 years ago, it had the steering wheel heater. I tried it for the first time driving home, and about 20sec after turning it on, I thought… "Oooo! This is niiiice!" I've been using it in the winter ever since. I love it, would definitely trade seat heaters for it if that was the deal, and want that on all my vehicles in the future!

Geoff we all know your feelings about snow, but does William like snow ? I hope the two of you played it if you had enough to play in that is. I Love the linguistical change on seat heaters. To me they are all season sciatic cramp quellers. They are on all the time from the first moment the temp drops below 50° . I really dont like winter clothes and I live In NH. Its not unusual for a group of us to be in sweatshirts and shorts until the first snow flys so, seat heaters are a must thanks for the update. We will wait while you continue to keep cooking it up. Just make sure no one stomps to much so it dosent go flat like a souffle 😃.

lol, We started with 10 inches here, then had three more, then five, then 8…. Why my idiot self moved to a place named “Frostburg”….. 🤦‍♀️ City motto: “It’s just cooler here!”. I’m not even kidding. But, to be fair, the other three seasons are glorious. It only sucks Mid Dec through mid Feb. But the weather is breaking here - we got over 20 today. Much better than the high of 6 we had earlier this week.

On a totally different note - hearing William in the background - many many years ago when I was a kid. My family moved to the Washington, DC area from Hawaii, after a military tour there of 4 years. My little brother was 7 - close to William's age and could not actually remember seeing snow before. There was a big snowfall while we were at school and his teacher took pity on his attempt to pay attention to her while snow was falling just outside the window. When she realized it was (as far as he knew at the time) the first he ever saw snow - she let him bundle up and go play in the snow - alone. The other kids were of course jealous, but I've always admired that teacher for allowing a 'snow newbie' a chance to play.

LOL Here in MO, we've had a foot of snow on the ground for weeks, it hasn't gotten over 32 in forever and is under 0 at night, butt heaters are essential to survival! We recently discovered our Jeep has a steering wheel heater...possibly even more important! Well, try to survive your brutal weather where you're out in just a hoodie (that's just April for us!) and no hat and scarf! What I can't figure out is how come we can't see your breath? I live in Maine, the Great White North, and I can’t imagine life without bun warmers in my car. But guess what? My last car, a 2004 MINI Cooper S, had both bun warmers and a heated steering wheel. I was a bit bummed when I replaced it last summer with an all-electric 2021 BMW i3S and found out it didn’t have a heated steering wheel. But hey, it’s got even better now! You can use an app on your phone to set up a “precondition for departure.” You can choose whether you want it heated or cooled to a specific temperature, and both the interior and your bun warmer will be at your desired temperature. And the best part? It keeps your pet comfortable while you’re shopping. Come and do some proper winter videos. Hell, Maine is happy to do it.
