Jamie T.

Oh, I've always hoped VP would do a cover of Hit The Road Jack but I'd certainly take a Geoff solo cover too.

ร‰dua Elster

That was fun! Many years had to pass till I understood what โ€žHit the roadโ€œ means. ๐Ÿคญ

Sarah Reach

No. I will not hit the road, and I will be back! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Today is my birthday and I count this little surprise serenade as my first birthday present! Thanks for the update and song!

Gillian Drysdale

the handsomest scruff around with the best ever voice โค๏ธ

Karen & Lauren

why does my brain, after hearing this, go straight to Jose in Drunken Sailor, saying "you sir, are a monster."? lol. thanks. I needed that today.

Agnes EvaR

I have suggested this song several times on VP Mini Polls. So if you're not working on it, I hope you or VP will one day. ๐Ÿ˜Š Thanks for the snippet! Can't wait to see what you're working on now.

Martina Kraft

Same with me, and wishing he would work on this too

Brandy Franklin

Could this maybe alluding to a different song by the same artist?

Diamond Wray

The most handsome scholar just serenaded me. ๐Ÿคฉ The glasses and the scruff make you look like someone has been in the library and reading instead of taking care of yourself ๐Ÿ˜‹. I will tell you this though there are days where I don't feel like listening to rock or any other pop music so I end up pulling up a playlist of your songs and you just make me melt your voice is absolutely incredible.

Talbot

DUUUUUDE, that's one of my favorites! Please hit that road (full length) someday.

Maria Moore

Uber sexy and sultry the voice is great to ๐Ÿ˜‰

E Alanna

Happy birthday!

Sharon Bapp

Thanks -G! I needed that! Will be feeling good all day now!

Thank you for the beautiful song, sir! ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ๐ŸŽถ Just what I needed to start smiling a little again - living in this upside down world... ๐Ÿ™ƒ Looking forward to your next "something" ๐Ÿ˜

PetraH

My thoughts exactly

Jacky Friedman

I've always liked this song. Just woke up and took my meds. So thank you for a great start to my day. Yeah yeah. I know it's past noon but hey. I'm retired and have no sleep schedule ๐Ÿ˜Š. I sleep when my body and eyes tell me to. Oh the woes of flexible shifts when I did work.

Ashley Evers

You do make it looks effortless ๐Ÿคฃ

Jacky Friedman

Happy Birthday ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅณ

Beckie Henry

Wow...I always love hearing your voice, but this was super cool!

Amber

Same haha ๐Ÿ˜‚ woke up, took my meds and listened to Geoff. Great way to start the morning ๐ŸŒž but it's only 10 am for me lol

Amber

You give me chills every time!

Marie Galaxy

Just because we say we donโ€™t want to know what youโ€™re working on, doesnโ€™t mean we donโ€™t want to know what youโ€™re working on! This was a wonderful โ€˜tide me overโ€™ though!! ๐Ÿ˜ป

Rev Jessie

Happy birthday Sarah!

Rev Jessie

Thank you, sir! On a break at an all day meeting and this is just what I needed. Canโ€™t wait to see what you *are* working on. Have a great Saturday.

Please work on this at some point in the future

Jaezrar

Thank you! It's always wonderful to see these little videos in between too :)

rolof67 L

Thanks G for showing us what you're not working on ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

C. McClean

Not even going to ask :)

Doyne

Feel free to give us more examples of everything else that you're not working on....

Marie Galaxy

โ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿ˜น

Hunter

Yes, pebble us. :)

Sarah Borzelli

I love all the stuff you're working on and the stuff you're not working on as well! Woah, it sounds so effortless when you sing what most people on this planet can't sing.

Susana

we all love these little videos, and that song is perfect for you. I know it, but I can't remember if it was from a movie or not. Thanks for sharing it with us, and... for me it's amazing as ever.

Hwyla

And now I wish you WERE working on it! Oh well, I'm sure whatever it is you are working on will be awesome! It always is.

V

Love the scruff

Rachel Dempsey

I LOVE this song so much! I used to work with a Jack who would sing this/hum it under his breath all the time.

KorKnot

Thank you for these bits for us to read/listen to. I haven't heard this song in quite a long time (please don't ask..memory is losing power). I will join with others, no idea how many, in saying 'love to hear you do this song...when and if you want to'. As for your something almost there....now very curiously waiting for I have not a single clue.

Ilona Dever

Whatever you are working on, I know I'm gonna love it!!

SunnyOutlook

It always feels like Christmas when you drop these unexpected pieces of ear candy. Hmmm, or should I say itโ€™s always Halloween? LOL! Either way itโ€™s a delight.

Judi B E

Happy Birthday.

Judi B E

I couldn't hear this very well when I was at work today, but now, at home, with my ear buds, it is so cool how you throw those low notes at the end to the back of my head. ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽง๐Ÿฉถ

Find

What note was that sub? An Eb1 or C#1?

Druid

The ACCURACY and quality and clarity of each and every noteโ€ฆ you never cease to amaze!! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

V

Looking at this pix...did G just wake up???? ๐Ÿช’

XuLee35

Well thank you for this unexpected gift ๐Ÿ˜†

Sharon Bapp

-G canโ€™t be trusted! He has a devious twisted sense of humor that has us chasing our tails with no effort at all!๐Ÿ˜„ so much fun!

Lori Kingston

Love this! Please tell us you're going to do a longer version!

Kourtney Frantz

Ummmmโ€ฆcoughโ€ฆmore please!? In the same shirt tooโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜

Tina Wolf

Omg if itโ€™s what I think it is omg I will be amazed either way all your songs are amazing

Sharon Bapp

I was a nurse and w parked all the shifts too. Now that Iโ€™m retired I do the same as yo. Sleep when I feel like it. We did our time.๐Ÿ˜Š

Carol

I would love to hear you do The Twelfth of Never and Wonderful Wonderful. It hasn't been long since I found you but I have listened to everything by you and Voice Play. You guys are the tops.

Mark Armstrong

I always see shades of Daryl when he doesn't shave.

Jamie T.

Sounds like you might be a Johnny Mathis fan like me ๐Ÿ˜Š. My favorite song of all time is his version of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (it was the song my hubby & I danced to at our wedding & I've loved it since I was 8, over 50 years ago). I'd love to hear Geoff or VP cover any of his songs!

Dale Freeman

Great song! If you haven't given up on it, I think it might sound even better slower, with the melody just a bit behind the beat.

Helen D

My mum loves this she'd sing this randomly around the house when I was small, she just had her 80th birthday 2 weeks ago.

Jen

Nice
