Before watching, just reading your description: so it's Turn the Page and Turn the Page II. After watching, I REALLY want to know how in the heck you can manage to sing ON KEY when the piano is that badly out of tune.

I’ve heard Layne and Tony tell the story of acquiring that piano. It is not capable of being more than a prop. If Geoff wanted one he can play, he can bring in his own (which he had done) or he can rent one (like in Imagine). It’s Geoff’s choice.

Hi iam sorry this is my third attempt I am dyslexic it is taking me 30 years to get reading sorted and it will probably take me 30 spelling right , 64 lol so I don’t don’t hold out much luck lol . I used to play piano for a Church group that would sometimes sing in for a class on Sunday mornings--know that piano ick all too well. 😬

Thank you for the BTS. It is always fun to see how your videos are put together. The piano is crazy. In high school choir, we came into class, got ready to sing and our choir instructor started playing the piano and the sound was horrendous. Someone had put tacks on the tappets, boy was Mr. Muth ticked. I don't know if he ever found out who had done it.

And as it's not a dialogue like in the lounge, I can write in spite of how long it is. Beautiful song and video, I love everything to concerning to lights, and the changing colours (specially blue), the piano? I guess it is Jack's lament one and it sounded awful! / I did not know the song or de singer, sorry (I am from another country and don't know every foreign singer). Dude! Spring for a piano tuning/restringing/refurbishing...heck at that point just spring for another used (but in tune) piano! I mean, as long as you're gonna have to play it for videos, even if not for the recordings! Yikes! I wouldn't be able to school my face to not cringe with each out of tune note! LOL Eh, this just goes to show you are a consummate professional! I am so excited for this one! I loved this song back in the 70s and love it now! Why do you torture yourself with that out-of-tune piano? I assume it is too expensive, or too far gone to get it tuned?

It's more a prop than an in-use instrument. It belongs to Pattycake Productions and it gets moved around, in and out of storage, for use as needed, so it likely wouldn't stay in tune. He's not recording any audio with it other than the BtS snippets.
