Looking at that session, it feels less like ‘maybe’ and more like you’ve accidentally summoned a small cinematic universe (again)🎬 At first I thought we were headed into a peaceful glacier-spa situation — ‘Softly,’ ‘Peace of Mind,’ ‘Endless Glacier,’ ‘Arctic Swells,’ all those angelic bells… very calming. I was ready to inhale serenity and exhale enlightenment 🕯️😇 But then — suddenly — the Hammers arrived. And the Damage Drums. And what I can only describe as “Impacts That Threaten My Mortality.” 🔨🥁😲 So now I’m preparing for something that starts in a tranquil frozen wonderland ❄️ and ends with a beautifully orchestrated existential crisis 💥 (the Geoff Special™). Whether it’s a cover you conquered or an original you’ve been wrestling with for two years, it already looks like an epic journey. We’re just excited to (maybe) survive it ☠️ By the way — can "The Moose" be rented for emotional support? I think he’ll be needed… 🐕😉 💙

Well, the short version to get you started. All the things on the left are elements of the song. Instruments, percussion, voices. Everything right of there is when you can hear that particular element being played or sung. It's on a timeline. Basically a road map of the song, where everything fits in. There, not so bad. And you know more than most people. As you can tell, his songs get pretty complicated!

Some times the worst part is having to pick just the right one with the sound you want. My one keyboard has like 67 pianos; so you sit there listening to them one by one until you find one that works. Maybe. There are literally thousands of patches out there for a given instrument. After a while you have a particular set of useable ones to go to regularly.
