I would love to hear you do Ray Charles ” Georgia on my mind”🙏🩷

Huldra Draco

More Johnny Cash. More LOTR. And a short of you singing "Kathy are you ok?" to the tune of Michael Jackson's "Annie are you ok" while following Kathy around annoying the heck out of her 😂

Magz

Oooooh Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 If we're talking Christmas related, Anno Domine by TransSiberian Orchestra or Te Deum by The Priests would sound AMAZING in a Geoff bass arrangement 😍 Your voice is a treasure, thank you for sharing it with us. 💖

Ethan Kayne

I would love to see purple people eater and attack of the Killer Tomatoes 🍅 from either you or VP next Halloween. And I know you probably get this a lot though I would love to hear you take on Gordon lightfoot.

Divology (Mark)

Oooooh such a good idea. He'd do well with feed the machine too

Jaezrar

Oooh this is great! I still vote for John Miles - Music ^^ 1976

Huldra Draco

Also, an original. (I know, I know, but a girl's gotta have a dream!!! 😅 )

Miran Tideturner

Anything goes? Okay you asked for it: I'll Meet You Further On Up The Road - Full Version The Oldest and Boringest never-before-heard song Ever (an Original)

Carol Franklin

Would love any Leonard Cohen and a full version of I’m On Fire

Angie Woollard

In general, I love the way things are going right now! I love the longs, the shorts, the snippets of things like radioactive plates, and everything in between. Whatever fills YOUR cup is what I'd like to see. I'd love to see you explore pet projects and lesser known songs that have been on your personal list for A While. If you're looking specifically for song suggestions, I've been keeping a list...lol 1. Summer in the City - Lovin' Spoonful 2. Bad, Bad Leroy Brown - Jim Croce 3. Use Me - Bill Withers 4. Harvest Moon - Neil Young 5. Sea of Love - The Honeydrippers (Robert Plant) 6. She's Got a Way - Billy Joel 7. Games People Play - Mel Torme

Azrielen

I would like to see a photo of your junk drawer. The most dusty and/or boring one, please.

Anikó Estók

Narration, please! 💫 The Little Prince – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Anja Eder

"The Last Unicorn" by America or "I Am Sailing" by Rod Stewart🥰 And of course, still a full version of "Further on up the road". PLEASE❣️❣️❣️

Anikó Estók

Let It Be Christmas – Alan Jackson

Beth Walsh

I second King of the Road. Would be a trifecta of songs my dad loved along with 16 Tons and Man of Constant Sorrow.

Patricia Merry

I would love to hear what you could do with Adele's - Rolling in the Deep

Manasi Kane

Anything that you well and truly want to do is perfect ! I am at a place of acceptance that I’m going to like anything that has your stamp on it ❤️🤣 But I wouldn’t say no to more -Johnny Cash - I saw below a couple of mentions of “Poor Man’s Poison”, I absolutely second “Hell’s Coming With Me”. -Anything LoTR - Full versions of Wayfaring Stranger and Further on up the Road - As the World Falls Down or ANY David Bowie song. Appreciate you and Kathy so much for all y’all do !! It’s just lovely being here !

Sue Armstrong

Well, since you feel like you're from 1933, how about a song from 1933? Or a recipe from 1933. Or a video of you singing a song from 1933 while making a recipe from 1933. Alternately, do whatever your heart desires. Except retire, don't do that just yet, please. 😁

Jeanette Pencz

„I am still standing“ 😂 from Elton John.

Michael Lackey

"Six Days on the Road", "The Ballad of the Alamo", and "The Ballad of Davey Crockett" For shorts you could do some old tv show themes, like The Beverly Hillbillies, Gilligan's Island, Bonanza, or The Andy Griffith Show" Speaking of Bonanza, you could do Lorne Green's "Ringo" as well.

Melodee Kemp

My daughter and I would love to hear your take (or VP’s) on “Build Me Up, Buttercup”. That would be EPIC!!

Sarah Borzelli

Yes to "Kathy are you ok" 🤣 but it needs to be a full with more ...are you OK's than MJ sang 😂

Jordi S

Scarborough Faire - Simon and Garfunkel The Gambler - Kenny Rogers

Sarah Borzelli

Only 93rd? You must feel in top shape! Also I don't know any songs from the dinosaur era. 😂 My dream is to get to hear an original of yours. And any passion song of yours, you pour extra heart into them! ❤️ Other than that you turn every song whether I originally like it or dislike it into something beautiful...so there's that I also like that you got to take more time this year to work on projects the way you like. Hopefully, it can continue like that next year and you can take time to try new things that feel extra interesting to you. Speaking of video style, I love all your videos, and I think you strike a good balance. However, I'd really like to see more simple artistic videos, like "Sound of Silence," or videos with light storytelling, like "Ain't No Sunshine" or "Man of Constant Sorrow," where we see you in different settings. Oh and a fun one like 'Way Down'!!! Also, I always enjoy your story bits about butt warmers and radioactive plates in between. Of course also your clever and funny write-ups. If you'd ever feel inclined to write a short story or something, I would be down for that as well. It could be fun to have collabs with one of the VP guys each on your solo channel. If you're looking for actual song suggestions; maybe "Wanted dead or alive" Bon Jovi could be a nice one

Nana Koranteng

I actually have a merch idea, you should make Wallets

Gillian Drysdale

on Cesars discussion yesterday he said that he ate the thanksgiving food but didn’t make any of it. I suggested he might like you to give him a cookery lesson? think that could be fun!

Patricia Schuman

Let’s see: You’ve kind of indicated Roger Miller’s “King of the Road” will be probably happen sometime, and I’d love to hear it. But, in the meantime, (and even though I basically hate shorts), a short version of his “Dang Me” would be fun and tide me by. I’d love to hear you do any of these Kris Kristofferson songs: “Sunday Morning Coming Down”, “Help Me Make it Through the Night”, “For the Good Times”, or “Me and Bobby McGee”. And, to feed my musical theater soul, “They Call the Wind Maria” from ‘Paint Your Wagon’ (Harve Presnell singing this song was the one highlight for me in the dreadful film version).

Lady D Richter

I would love to hear you sing "Black Water" by the Doobie Brothers.

Dale and Carol Timberlake

Totally off the wall...start singing the National Anthem (with all of VP) at MLB & NFL games. You'all would be amazing!!

Patti Lucero Grace

Simple Man by Lynard Skynard King of the Road Make a Lair by Jackson Dean Highway Man by The Highway Men (Johnny Cash was part of The Highway Men) More Johnny Cash Something by David Bowie Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce

Knut Erik Vassvik

Toss a coin to your witcher But your own version

Beth Comer

An original Geoff Castellucci song is definitely the dream!!!

Melissa Elliott

Totally random, but could you put zippered hoodies in your store? I'm not a fan of pullover hoodies, but I'd rock some Geoff (and VP) zippered hoodies.

Lynn M

My personal wish list: Music of the Night King of the Road Bad bad Leroy Brown

Susana

Hi, Geoff. Red right hand - the weeping song (both Nick Cave). But your version. //// Videos filmed outside, like Man of constant sorrow, it would be something different from Patty Cake. // We all want you to go on enjoying singing 💗

Patti Lucero Grace

For Halloween I would love you to do Bad Moon Rising by CCR

Loralei Dragon

I cosign everything Sarah says here!

Mikki Fullerton

I'd like to hear the following, which wouldn't fit into a single year even if you did nothing else. 🤣 But hey, a girl can dream, can't she? Maybe *one* might catch your eye... Story song: Corvette Song - George Jones Rock: Have I Told You Lately - Van Morrison Love: When I Fall In Love - Nat King Cole Musical: Music of the Night - Phantom of the Opera Gaming: Guns for Hire - Arcane Halloween: Old Devil Moon - Sinatra or In the Dark of the Night - Anastasia or Hey Little Songbird - Hadestown Progressive Rock: C'est La Vie - Emerson Lake & Palmer Pop/Soul: Tower of Strength - Ray Charles Pop: Rolling in the Deep - Adele or Memories - Maroon 5 Classic Pop: I've Got You Under My Skin or Come Fly With Me - Frank Sinatra Mini for Socials: Tigger's Bouncy Song & Cookie Monster's C is for Cookie Christmas: Santa Baby Disney (mini?): So This is Love - Cinderella Folk Mini: The Wind - Yusuf/Cat Stevens Folk: Sunshine On My Shoulders - John Denver Country: Huckleberry - Toby Keith Daughter's Choice: Full version of Rainbow Connection Animated Soundtrack: Somewhere Out There (duet) Religious Mini: Swing Low Sweet Chariot Jazz: Wave - Frank Sinatra & Carlos Jobim (Frank is always reaching down in this one, I think you can do better, and I don't say that lightly, though it does feature some instrumentals.)

Beth Comer

I'd love to hear you do a cover of Flowers on the Wall by the Statler Brothers. It's such a fun song, and I can see you having a good time with it. But even more than that, I'd love to hear what a piece of original music by you would sound like. Your covers are always brilliant and I enjoy them more than I enjoy most other groups' original work, but I know you have something great bottled up inside. I'd give up a few months of covers to hear it.

Cloudy Skies

I am sitting at the edge of my seat awaiting whatever your heart desires to do. That being said, I would cry happy tears if you did anything zydeco like 'Give Him Cornbread'. Or Gordon Lightfoot 'If You Could Read My Mind' Or 'Faust' from the musical 'Phantom Of The Paradise'

Mikki Fullerton

They just moved, it's probably not very junky yet... ;)

Andy86700

A-ha’s famous “Take On Me” with the Geoff Castellucci spin would be epic. Proclaimer’s “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) would never be heard the same again with your musicality infused in it. Cartoon’s “Witch Doctor” feels like it was meant for you. Rick-rolling everyone with Rick Astley’s “Never Going To Give You Up” would quite possibly break the internet more so than even earlier today.

Beth Comer

Full cover versions of Wayfaring Stranger and Further On Up the Road are also very high up on my wish list!

Karen Campbell

My grandmother loved Jim Reeves and one of her favourites (and mine) was He'll have to go. His voice is smooth as silk and I've often thought it would be perfect for you. Another favourite is Gladys Knights 'Help me make it through the night. I know Kris Kirstofferson's version is faster but Gladys' is smoother. These are probably too old and boring but I like them 🙂

Eliz Brown

Hallelujah 🔥🤩🔥

Beth Comer

Definitely piling onto this desire!

Azrielen

OK FINE I'll do song suggestons too: The Man Who Sold the World - David Bowie Come Fly With Me (any Sinatra might be fun, really) Like A Stone - Audioslave (or whatever of Chris Cornell's work you like best for your voice, really) Skyfall - Adele Red Right Hand - Nick Cave Because I have to at this point: Grace Kelly - Mika Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen Summertime - Ella Fitzgerald (maybe if you're looking to finally do that duet with Cesar? LOL) My most off the wall suggestion: The third season of the AMC show 'Interview With the Vampire' is coming out next year, featuring all original music for Lestat when he becomes a rock star. You'd be an excellent physical fit for that character and Sam Reid, as Lestat, has a pretty deep set to his voice. I think a short around the time the show is airing, especially if a song from that showhas a real Moment, would be a really epic crossover. And you could play a vampire again! A sexy vampire, dare I say? PS. If you do Skyfall or Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name," you could have an excuse to dress up as James Bond.

Loralei Dragon

Ok, I haven't finished my coffee yet so I'm going to have a ponder and come back with more specific suggestions. But in general I *really* enjoy it when you do jazzy/bluesy songs. I know lots of non-patron fans want country from you, but the blues isn't that far off. What about an Ella & Louis duet featuring Emoni or Ashley?

PetraH

Hi Geoff, I would really love to hear your take on Brothers in Arms (Dire Straits), or Tunnel 13 (M Knopfler). Also super cool would be the full versions of Wayfaring Stranger and/or Further on up the road. And of course anything that is on your wishlist and would make you happy. Thanks to you and Kathy for everything! So happy to be here and to be a part of this!

Manasi Kane

Besides the song suggestions and ONLY if it doesn’t entail a whole lot of extra work I would love to see a snippet (or more) of the actual arranging / recording / video editing process ❤️

Daniel Anderson

I don't know if this post is for Voiceplay. I think it's for his solo stuff. Although he could do a feature like he did in Mele Kalikimaka featuring the American Sisters.

Rachel P.

I'd love to hear/see Gordon Lightfoot "If You Could Read My Mind", Willie Nelson "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain", Johnny Mathis "Come to Me", and Bob Seger "Against the Wind". Anything by Jim Croce, of course, would be fantastic, as well as anything by Roy Orbison!! Thinking of how amazing your cover of Nina Simone was, what about "At Last" by Etta James?

Azrielen

I want to see a reaction video from you, reacting to our song suggestons from this post. XD

Mikki Fullerton

Oh, and I almost forgot... but since you went and said sometimes nos can become yes again, I'll keep throwing out Lil' Red Riding Hood on occasion, too. 🤣

Daniel Anderson

I don't really have anything to say, I'm not an old and boring person yet😞 (I didn't intend for this statement to say that's a bad thing by the way). Whatever you put out Geoff, I will enjoy it every time! However, my mom would like to see you do The Gambler by Kenny Rogers

Azrielen

Or is it THE MOST junky because they just moved? Could go either way imo. Enquiring minds want to know.

Ola Rozenfeld

I'd love it if you duplicated this post as a YouTube short, so that non-patrons can suggest songs, and upvote the comments. On that: I'd much rather commenters here did one suggestion per comment, so that voting represents preferences. This is what I'm going to do.

Cloudy Skies

Also, 'Gimme Three Steps' by Lynyrd Skynyrd

Carina Rödebäk

I still would like I WsBorn Under A Wandering Star from Painted Wagon. Preferably with the harmonica as well. Maybe performed by the Unshaken singers?

Ola Rozenfeld

I'd love to see your take on Ready For The Storm (Deanta's cover).

Johanna Ruusulaakso

My wishes would be Moonlight shadow and Blue moon... I think they would sound fantastic but I'm really enjoying everything you will sing.

Ola Rozenfeld

Mad World (thinking of Gary Jules version style)

Nicki

Streets of London by Ralph McTell Time in a bottle by Jim Croce Dust in the wind by Kansas I'll have to say I love you in a song by Jim Croce Morning has broken by Cat Stevens Sorry, I only know old and boring songs! Wishing you a successful, happy and healthy 2026!

Joyce Miller

Would you stop with the "I'm old" stuff? I just turned 75, and I'm not old (well, a little). But the next time you say you're old, I'm gonna beat you with my sheet music! I don't want to hear anything boring from you, and honestly I don't think we would. Rachel P has some good suggestions. I have been loving your and Layne's arrangements. More, please!

Ola Rozenfeld

Speaking of old: how about Dona Dona? It's from 1941...

Azrielen

Yoooo how much do I want "Somewhere Out There" as a duet Short with legit anyone voiceplay has ever had as a member or guest? I NEED THIS.

Lyndsay James

The wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald- only because you said you’d never do it 😜 Dust in the Wind Ventura Highway Southern cross. Would love to see you recording as well

Sigrid Verlaan

oh, thats an easy question. "As Times goes by" ....1931 written for Broadway, immortalized through Mrs Bergman and Bogart and Dooley Wilson.

Susana

Geoff, I have suggested a couple of things below (songs, way of filming). But what I really want is that you go on enjoying what you do. I know this is one of your jobs, but it's important that you feel happy working and that singing will always be joy for you. Thanks for sharing your voice with us 😊

Karen & Lauren

I will keep requesting Johnny Cash's duet "Jackson" until you do it.

David Williford

A collaboration with Tim Foust of course. It matters not what you sing. I implicitly trust both of you in deciding what to perform.

Natasha Mickey Pagni

I would love to hear your take on just about anything from James Taylor, I think that would be amazing.

Karen & Lauren

I would also like to put this one out there for a dusty old song you still probably haven't listened to : Tennessee Waltz.

C. McClean

Umm, I'm 74 and agree he is not old or boring. He is feisty and smart so makes a good whippersnapper. Little sidenote... You have my mother's name. :)

ChazyUK

I heard a song a few days ago and thought umm 🤔 Geoff would sound amazing singing that, wouldn’t you know it, I can’t remember what it was 🤣 🤷🏼‍♀️ message to self, keep post it notes handy 😁😊

Ashley Evers

Things that people have already mentioned that I wholeheartedly agree with - King of the Road Full Versions of Wayfaring Stranger and Further On Up the Road Time in a Bottle

Ashley Evers

One that's probably still just me - The Longer the Waiting by Josh Turner

Bill Frohnapfel

The oldest and most boring thing I can think of is original music.

Carole Belanger

Smoke gets in your eyes - The Platters... Desperato - Eagles... Teach your children - Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young ... also really like the bluesy or jazzy covers and also the big band style.

Jill Peterson

Would love to hear an original 😁 Here are just a few songs I'd love to hear you cover: Time In a Bottle (by Jim Croce) Caledonia (Scottish Folksong) Full version of Color of the Wind (Pocahontas) Witch Dr (by Ross Bagdasarian Sr. under the stage name David Seville) Somewhere Out There (from American Tales, this might have to be a duet, would live to hear Kathy join you, but I know 😔 wont happened) Memory (From Cats) Do You Believe In Magic (by John Sebastian) Freak The Freak Out (From the tv show Victorious)

Ann Durham

I would buckle to the knees and melt like the Wicked Witch hit with a bucket of water if you did this lullaby (even if you did it as a short). Especially if you could borrow a baby. It's gorgeous as is, but in a low voice. . . . .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yQpU_73Dv0

Ashley Evers

For a few that have been sung by too many people to name - Dream a Little Dream Sway Fever

Karin Wolf

Tie a yellow ribbon round the ole oak tree... would be NICE!!

C. McClean

You already said nah to more narrations, then put narration into songs. That is good. I like to see you happy so do what you do best and enjoy everything you do and we will love it. Remember to take a break now and then to enjoy your life. Have Kathy film it for us. Song? hmmm, Don't Worry, Be Happy. Pssst that is a song.

Ann Durham

"Ring of Fire" almost killed me. "Time in a Bottle" would completely finish me off!

Sidhelien

Teo Torriate by Queen would be amazing Desperado by the Eagles to add to the Wild West repertoire

Robin Rossenfeld

I will soon be 73 and am not old. Okay. A few bones creak but that has been going on since I was 12! Since people are suggesting true oldies what about some of the Great American Songbook like Funny Valentine or Our Love is Here to Stay or even One for My Baby (And One More for the Road)?

ChazyUK

David Bowie, The Man Who Sold the World - oh yes please, such a great song 🥰 I would like a song that I know 😂 I always end up saying I have never heard this before but still love it haha. Seems to be quite a difference in folks fave music depending on which side of the pond they live on 🤣🤣 it’s the only conclusion I can come to, either that or age 😁😊

Sidhelien

Sorry, forgot to add Jealous Guy by Roxy Music and Peasant's Throne by Lilith Max - you'd do that one amazingly

Maria Moore

A musical medley pick you fave song and make a mash up maybe

Irena S

Maybe, Love Story by Francis Lai?

Silv E

WELL, if you add your age and mine, we're turning 92 on Dec 4 so there you go: you're probably just picking up on my vibes. ;P GEOFF WISH LIST (in no particular order and not exhaustive): Leonard Cohen. Anything of his - I'd love to see what you'd do with it. ORIGINAL SONG Live concert. You are a draw. You silly goose. Full versions of Wayfaring Stranger and Further On Up the Road Anything Tolkien!

Ashley Evers

And a couple of lullabies just for fun- Where The Lost Things Go Hushabye Mountain

Emma Yadkin

I'd enjoy hearing a duet with you and Eli. For songs, King of the Road please. For yourself, health and happy times with your family.

Cyndra

The Last Farewell by Roger Whittiger! Puffy shirt, ye olde masted ship!

Snyckerdoodle

Would love to hear you and either Tim Faust or one of the other prominent basses from social media doing a bass version of Low Rider.

Loralei Dragon

Yes, obviously this is for Geoff's solo work. I didn't say anything about Voiceplay.

Tony

A bass adaptation of Laughter in the rain made famous by Neil Sedaka..

Loralei Dragon

Ok, the following are my personal suggestions. I will have all of your 2025 requests (including this post) compiled for you around New Years, if that's useful. Georgia On My Mind What A Wonderful World Hallelujah (cohen) Believer (imagine dragons) Come By Me (Connick) Paper Moon What Was I Made For (Eilish) Holiday suggestions - Winter Wonderland Silver Bells The Christmas Song (chestnuts roasting...) Halloween suggestions - Dance Magic Dance Dead Man's Party

Silv E

cosigned!

Silv E

But he had recurring nightmares about "Take on Me", iirc!

Tabitha Chonka-Michaud

Hmm... I'd say something that speaks to you or makes *you* smile... no matter how silly it seems. Because honestly, the world needs more laughter and silliness right now. And chances are, a lot of us will love it, too. 🥰

Ashley Evers

This isn't one that I'm looking for specifically, but I wonder if there is an audience for your narrations on Tiktok? You could use pieces of narrations you're already done, preferably with a video of you doing something mundane like cooking, or Tommy taking a nap, and use the booktok hashtag.

Zena Darling

My forever request, that I haven't seen mentioned (though I scrolled thru quickly, didn't read every comment) is St James Infirmary Blues. One ive seen mentioned a bunch and adding my vote to is Time in a Bottle. The shorts that I would most like to see a full version of are Wayfaring Stranger and Trust in Me (from the jungle book!)

Zena Darling

Ooo Dead Man's Party would be fantastic!!

ChazyUK

Ok got 2 and only 2 cos so many great ones already suggested 😊 AVOLON - Roxy Music DANCE AWAY - Roxy Music Love Roxy music, always have, I can here Geoff having lots of fun with the plug ins 😁😊

Scott Pearce

Right Said Fred- I'm too sexy The temptations - I can’t get next to you Journey - Wheel in the sky

Azrielen

No no wait. I have the perfect suggestion. Copacabana (At the Copa) - Barry Manilow.

Lidbert

Ooh, a full version of Trust in Me is an excellent idea! You have my full support 🐍

Bjvalley

You’re Gone - Diamond Rio

Talbot

Seconding 'Dang Me.'

Talbot

"Pack up all my cares and woes. Feeling low, here I go. Bye bye, blackbird."

Talbot

LOTR: Rankin Bass' 'Where There's a Whip, There's a Way' combined with 'Down, Down to Goblin Town.' It'd be perfect for Halloween or any time. And you'd get to be an orc!

Christine

He Ain't Heavy, He's my Brother; I Was Born Under a Wandrin' Star. Full version of A Poor Wayfaring Stranger, Trust in Me and Further on Up the Road. Most of all an ORIGINAL SONG!

Agnes EvaR

I’d really love to hear a full version of Wayfaring Stranger. And I definitely wouldn’t complain about a full version of Trust in Me either.

Marna Brown

Ultimately you have to make the decision as to what lends itself to your voice. One can't ask a tap dancer to perform a ballet. That being said I have no problems and have been happy with your selections and songs. Besides the fact I am almost exactly 30 yrs older than you. I was born 7/26/1950. I have forgotten more songs than you have ever heard.😁 You're doin' ok kid. Take time to smell the roses and enjoy God's creations. 🌹💜

Rnixon

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

Agnes EvaR

I honestly wasn’t sure if I should say this… so please don’t laugh at me. I love L’Italiano by Toto Cutugno, and I’d absolutely love to hear you sing it. (There’s a lovely cover and video by The Gypsy Queens, by the way!) I’m assuming you wouldn’t want to sing it in Italian — and the original lyrics might not be your style anyway. But what about a version with your own lyrics about what life is like as the husband of a five-foot-tall Italian woman? I’d love that so much.

Susan B

"Desperado" and "Pancho and Lefty". Bring back the ghost riders!

Sarah Martin

Cry to me by Solomon Burke, California Dreamin, Long Black Train, Time in a Bottle

James M.

Couple of ideas: -Medley of Sinatra songs (my way, strangers in the night, perhaps finishing with you make me feel so young directed at your lovely wife?) -Istanbul by the four lads (just a fun song) -Christmas in the Trenches (it’s about the WWI Christmas armistice)

Kathy Pricer

Oooooh!! I vote for Born Under a Wandering Star as well!!

Sarah Reach

My Requests: The Highwayman by The Highwaymen One Piece at a time by Johnny Cash Full Versions of Further up the Road and Poor Wayfaring Stranger The Thunder Rolls by Garth Brooks Hey Little Songbird from Hadestown Doggone Cowboy by Marty Robbins Dusty Winds by Marty Robbins Ragtime Cowboy Joe by Sons of the Pioneers And of course, you can never go wrong with ANY Johnny Cash!

Maggie B

"And I Love You So" by Andy Williams,

Kathy Pricer

This isnt exactly your style, but i love Happy by Pharrell Wiiliams.

Agnes EvaR

You’ve mentioned a few times that Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen is on your list, and I’ve seen others suggest it too — but I’m writing it here myself, just in case it somehow slips past you. 😊

Kay Skolfield

The Star Spangled Banner 🇺🇸

Wolfhardt

Ah well, sooo many awesome suggestions! I definitly second the desire for a Geoff Original, Time in a Bottle, full Wayfaring Stranger and Mad World. And some suggestions l couldn't find so far, in no particular order, at the top of my head: Patrick Hernandez-Born to be alive Blue Oyster Cult-Don't fear the Reaper The Doors-Riders on the Storm Whitesnake-Here l go again Blues Brothers- Everybody needs Somebody Little Shop of Horrors-a mashup of Feed Me Seymore & Suppertime Blood, Sweat & Tears-And when l Die

Michelle and Quincy

Devil in Disguise by Elvis for next Halloween (or January 🩷) please and thank you

Wolfhardt

And since l saw you together with Tim in Just Sing l wish for a Bass Battle with him to the tune "Everything you can do, l can do better" 😜

ZAYRAY!

I would love for you to arrange and play Iris GooGoo on piano with Eli as vocals. Also Hells coming with me, dead man's poison

David Wanderer

Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree Purple People Eater Shorts on how-to home repairs or cooking

PrincessJoySparkles

Monster Mash is my absolute favorite of your videos and I’d love to see Wolfman in particular from it make a return appearance. The scratching for fleas was just fabulous. It would be fun to have the whole cast back to do another song and it might be funny if it wasn’t a Halloween or horror themed song but take a non spooky song and make it like a spooky song or simply in a spooky setting. I’m a big fan of the muppet show and in one episode they sang “I’m so happy” to the speed of a funeral dirge. I saw someone they sang a song called “To Morrow” where a man at the train station was trying to get to a town called Morrow and was told by the ticket seller that he should have gone to Morrow yesterday and back today because the train that goes to Morrow is a mile upon its way (and will return tomorrow night). There was a great deal more of this and I’d love a new version of it. Since it’s so obscure I’m not expecting to get it but you were kind enough to ask what I’d like. I’d also like ”I’m my own Grandpa” which was also performed on the muppet show. There was also an episode where a change of plans happened and a cowboy group went out to sing about how all day they faced the barren waste without the taste of water ( Sons of the pioneers Cool Water song) on a set for “Singing in the Rain” while it was raining. In case you can’t tell, I like it when things are funny but another of my favorites is Misty Mountains so I’d also love more Lord of the Rings/Hobbit music. Also stories of the Wild West music like Big Iron.

Sarah Borzelli

ohh maybe a short of The Ents' Marching Song - Clamavi De Profundis would be earth-shakingly great!

PrincessJoySparkles

Oops, I was editing my comment and it posted it mid sentence change. I was about to add it would be funny to have to have the cast from monster mash sing a song about being happy (possible the “Because I’m happy” song) right before I began talking about the song To Morrow

David Wanderer

My absolute dream song would be a duet between yourself and Kavisha Mazzella (an older Italian-Australian singer-songwriter with an incredible voice). I think your blends of emotion as well as your vocals would be something the world didn't know it needed until it heard it.

David Wanderer

I don't know the song "Silly Goose". Is that a Geoff original?

David Wanderer

oh my, Sway would be impossible to turn away from

Ashley Evers

Also, he’d have to dance at least a little 🤣😉

David Wanderer

I do love your touches of humour, and I could imagine you playing around with "Put Another Nickel In"

Brandy Franklin

You know Geoff likes hitting us in the feels. This would be a killer

Ola Rozenfeld

Oh, Don Mclean's songs would be amazing for you! Vincent, American Pie, Dreidel, And I Love You So, The Grave are some of my favorites.

Ola Rozenfeld

Dance Me To The End Of Love by Leonard Cohen (anything by him, really) -- the video of just you and Kathy dancing would be amazing for this!

Lynn M

💯 this especially if there was a way to make them separate from the songs so they don't mess with recommendations. GC Narrates maybe?

Suzann Harris

Ahhhhhhhh . . . I love Christmas on the Trenches . . .

Suzann Harris

Being from Tennessee, I would love Tennessee Waltz!

Karen Campbell

I listened to Chris Rea's 'The road to hell parts, one and two' I forgot how good it is. Perfect, in fact

ChazyUK

Love AVOLON, love love Bryan Ferry’s voice, so smooth ❤️ Geoff could do phenomenal things with this 😊 I just love everything about it. Plus it would be nice to have something i immediately know and can sing to haha 😊

ChazyUK

I have a question for mr C but I am going have to think about how I want to ask it 😂 I might stick a question in the next chat or use the google question perk when it’s Geoff turn, not sure and I might change my mind and not ask at all 😂 Things can get interpreted wrong when written I’m much better at communicating via my gob 😁

Ashley Evers

Hm, maybe, but I feel like part of the goal would be to bring people over to the music as well. I feel like Tiktok is a lot more forgiving about that than Youtube, as it's so easy to move on if the content isn't what you are looking for. The Youtube shorts are the same way, it's not as disruptive to their music if the shorts are a bit different.

Ashley Evers

Oh, and original. Forgot to mention 🤣

KorKnot

For 2026-I would like to see, hear, & know that you, family, and friends are happy, blessed, 😃 There are lots of song suggestions that you can choose from, no way could I choose only one to agree with. I won't even think of something to suggest. Whatever you put together & share will be great.

Marlene

I love everything you do. I have several songs that I would like you to consider, Some Memories Just Won't Die by Marty Robbins, Kiss You All Over by Exile, Stranger In My House by Ronnie Millsap. Yes I like the old stuff, because I'm old 😁

Pam Franklin

Lonesome Town, Ricky Nelson. And I love your voice in your higher range...and I love to see you dance. 🕺

Crazy CatLady

Hallelujah by Leonard Coen - This just simply must exist! :-) For Christmas time - I Wonder as I Wander. Thank you so much for all of the hard work you and Kathy do, and sharing your talent and love of music with us!

ZAYRAY!

Under Pressure with Eli! Plz and thankyou 💙

ZAYRAY!

Yes on Husbabye!!! Ive asked so many times now 🤣

ZAYRAY!

I really really really want within you from Labrythn, but it isnt one I've seen anyone else request

Ashley Evers

You know he’s going to growl it 🤣

Jeanne Marsh

Twilight time by the Platters would be amazing. So would Time in a Bottle. O just pick anythything and Belt it out. We will be 😊.

Diane Holland

I think Mikki has a hidden list somewhere. All of these suggestions are really good!

Diane Holland

Well, after reading 186 suggestions (a little overwhelming), I will give you some more. Forever in Blue Jeans-- Neil Diamond. This needs to be a short. Lady in Red - Chris De Burgh Seven Bridges Road-- Eagles The Rose -- Bette Midler Walking in Memphis-- Marc Cohn Send me an Angel -- Scorpions Together Forever/Never Give You Up -- Rick Astley Annie's Song -- John Denver Don't Stop -- Fleetwood Mac Here Comes the Rain Again -- Eurythmics They Call The Wind Mariah -- Paint Your Wagon movie Just for Fun-- A duet with Cesar- Holding on for a Hero! A duet with J. None - Way Down We Go- Kaleo

Emily Houk

Wow, so many good suggestions! I'll second (third, fourth, wherever I am in the list at the moment, lol!) "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. I also would love to hear you do "I Wanna Be Your Slave" by Maneskin! I bet Kathy would love that one!

Mikki Fullerton

Oh it's no secret, I totally have a list. 🤣Glad you like some of them!

Mikki Fullerton

Oh I would also love some duets with the other guys or other collabs. There are some very different kinds of songs that could be explored with duets than can be done (usually) with full groups. And each of the pairs have a different kind of vocal blend and vibe dynamic!

Mikki Fullerton

I asked for Dance Me once and he told me no as he didn't like that song. 😂

Stacey V.

Geoff if you would be interested in doing a duet I think this song would be awesome with you gorgeous deep voice and one of the Ladies that you have worked with before . It is very beautiful. Soulwarden A Wildheart's Tale, Niniel https://youtu.be/eKd8ugpTa28?si=ZhqT4h5xS76yEZWu Another other song I'd love to here you do, and yes I've mentioned it before. The song is a depart from your usual too, but I think it would come out really nice with a bass touch. Is Silent Lucidity by Queenryche . https://youtu.be/-iIs9mK8VSg?si=5x5iACbJLhR4iyUs The last one that I'm am suggesting fits in with the old school music you like to do, however it also fits in with the narration, so I don't know how it would fit into your algorithm, but it is a special song. Teddy Bear by Red Savine https://youtu.be/-iIs9mK8VSg?si=5x5iACbJLhR4iyUs Thank you for asking for our suggestions. Even if you don't use mine I hope you enjoy the songs. -Stacey

Mikki Fullerton

If I wasn't clear enough in my last post, what I'd like to see you do most is more music. 🤣 I'd truly love to hear a Geoff original sometime.... But what made me post again was remember another story song I think your voice would suit well, as it's both a story song and could potentially be done as a Halloween song if you so desired, and that's Man In The Long Black Coat. It's originally by Bob Dylan, but I actually prefer the Emerson, Lake & Palmer version.

Rachel P.

Another request: "Witchy Woman", or anything by the Eagles at all. There are so many good ones to choose from! Also, anything by Susan Tedeschi, "To Make You Feel My Love" by Garth Brooks, "Paper Wings" or "Leaving Train" by Gillian Welch, "A Soft Place to Fall" by Allison Moorer, gosh, I have so many I'd love to hear Geoff's spin on!!

Rachel P.

I second, third, and fourth everyone on here saying "Music of the Night" from POTO, as well as those suggesting Nat King Cole and Gordon Lightfoot songs. I'd also LOVE to hear you (and your clones) or VP sing "Once Upon a December" from Disney's Anastasia. Especially if Layne could do the final, upward trailing, "Deceemmmmbeeerr", that would be incredible. Anything similar to Shenandoah would also be a dream come true, that's my all-time favorite of yours. I can't remember how many times I've listened to it now, I had it on repeat for weeks!!

Brontesaurus Rex

"Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" please it's like all I want lol

Brontesaurus Rex

... Okay, Geoff as Jareth, this is a thing I need

Dolly Geotes

Just thought of another one Dock of the Bay. By Otis Redding

Leigh D

John Farnham has a ballad version of Beatles "Help". I'd love to see a deep bass cover. Also Queen's 'Who Want To Live Forever' (but I'd also love to see what VoicePlay could do with that one). I also vote for Phantom's 'Music of the Night'. Also, I'd love to hear something original. I think that's what I'd love most.

Silv E

Paper moon!!

Silv E

It should be! :D

Patricia Merry

The song from "True Blood," Jace Everett's steamy (and a bit wicked) - Bad Things

Lori Templeman

You've Got A Friend (James Taylor/Carole King), and you could even do a mashup with You've Got a Friend in Me (Randy Newman)!

Blackshadow676

Don't Fear the reaper Blue Öyster Cult

Blackshadow676

I also all of the above for Phantom of the Opera Music of the night

Loralei Dragon

Hey G, my Jude is requesting Radioactive by Imagine Dragons. He doesn't even know the plate story! I find this a hilarious coincidence 😂

Marie Galaxy

Everything you do is always so good one way or the other! I’ve got some real old and dusty song suggestions and a few less old, but nonetheless dusty. The Old Lamplighter - 1946 Sammy Kaye Or 1960 The Browns Tennessee Waltz - Patti Page (& others) El Paso - Marty Robbins …this song doesn’t get any older or dustier ❤️Red Red Wine or Play Me - Neil Diamond 🙏🏻 Sweet Surrender - Bread Every Breath You Take - Police I’m On Fire - Bruce Springsteen (Long Version) …but if the backlash (which was weird) of the short version won’t let you…then how about one of these by Bruce: All That Heaven Will Allow Or Brilliant Disguise I also really like the “Slice of Life” shorts you’ve done. More of those would be entertaining. (If they don’t mess with the numbers.) I would love to see you juggle! Can you still do it? I want to see it!! 😁

Debs Badger

Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - Elton John

AmbularD

Stuck On You - Lionel Richie

AmbularD

Through The Years - Kenny Rogers

Rachel P.

Add "Time in a Bottle" and I think we have a solid playlist, lol! :)

Rahel

Good Morning....🌞 Rest your Love on me (Gibb & Newton John) Make you feel my Love (Teddy Swims) My immortal (Evanescence) I believe when I fall in Love ... ( Josh Groban) First of May -or- When a Child is Born (Sarah Brightman) Have a nice Day!

Mathilde R

Here, there, and everywhere - the Beatles Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen (come on, this MUST happen, we all want it!) My immortal - Evanescence Can't wait for another year of beautiful covers 🩵

Cécile Roussey

Very good choice "My immortal - Evanescence" :-D

Cécile Roussey

Hi Geoff ^^ My immortal - Evanescence, this song made by you? I love this song ^^

Becca Timps

Hi Geoff - my eclectic selection Wandrin' Star by Lee Marvin Something by The Beatles In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel Let Me Entertain You by Robbie Williams or Strong also by Robbie and an early Halloween idea Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley

Mathilde R

It would be soooo soothing, right?

Rahel

Very much agree!

Faydra

Jim Reeves - "He'll Have to Go". ❤️

Karen & Lauren

Eagles is a no. They don't allow covers.

Hunter

This might be a bit bizzare but "Empty Chairs At Empty Tables" - From Les Miserables. It's moody :D

Rev Jessie

Good morning Mr. Castellucci! Like others before me, I have several songs I would love to hear you cover in addition to any original songs you may wish to share. 1. Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn 2. My Grandfather’s Clock by Johnny Cash - My dad used to sing this and King of the Road to me when I was little. Your voice reminds me of my Dad so I would loooooove to hear your cover of this. 3. Little Drummer Boy/Peace On Earth by Bing Crosby and David Bowie - I would love to hear a cover of this with you and Señor De La Rosa singing together. I also have a request for a new perk. Would you consider releasing to some of your patrons, a video of a wide shot of you recording one of your songs? A start to finish, warts and all take. I would appreciate the opportunity to see the entire wide shot of one of your songs. Thank you for all you do for us. I appreciate your gifts of song.

Sakurako M

The Last Dance (Der letzte Tanz) -from the musical “Elisabeth”

Lindabell

These are all great suggestions, I’ll add just one more, “Walking After Midnight” by Patsy Cline. She does it low for a female, but think you could do it even lower and and tickle even more of our musical receptors!!!

Bishop

"The Living Years" - written by BA Robertson and Mike Rutherford; recorded by Mike + The Mechanics; released in December 1988

James Nelmondo

It's my 45th so we're close. But knowing your amazing voice.... I would LOVE to hear Eye of the Tiger as a Voiceplay production. As for YOU in particular, I'd love to hear Show must go on by queen. I know it sounds weird but...

Shirley Patton

I'm dating myself, but maybe "My Rifle, My Pony & Me". It was sung by Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson in the John Wayne movie, Rio Bravo.

Debs Badger

Lil' Red Riding Hood - Sam the Sham & The Pharaohs (if another bass singer can sing it and not get any flack, I don't see why you can't).

Becky

Would love to hear your version of John Prine's I Just Want to Dance With You. You and Kathy could make a wonderful video for this song.

Loralei Dragon

James, have you reacted to Voiceplay's Queen medley yet??

kris ivy

lotr: into the west or may it be; gollum's song as a mini.

Beth Comer

I have always loved Joan Osborne's cover of Man In the Long Black Coat. Her voice suits it so well!

Zoie McIntyre

How about John Prine's Angel from Montgomery - or Xavier Rudd's Follow The Sun :)

Talbot

I loooove Cool Water.

Tova

Okay, this one is a little different, but I’ll put it out there anyway: The Bee Gees’ ‘Stayin’ Alive’ is the most widely used CPR rhythm song (100–120 bpm) — and also one of the least bass-friendly songs ever written. As someone who’s spent years in EMS, I’ve always wished for a version people would actually enjoy and remember. I can’t help wondering what a low, cinematic, Geoff-ified take could bring to it — both for the fun of it and for the folks who might recall it in a real moment. It’s old, it’s boring… but if your version helps even one person remember the rhythm — then hey, that’s one more person, well, stayin’ alive!

Susie Q

Well, old and boring has been working for you so far...lol

Susie Q

I definitely echo Debs with "Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me"

Shannon Kazmierczak

And could Voiceplay do Jungle Bells by the Four Seasons???

Angie Woollard

Imagine the video possibilities! 😅

MorningRose370

Genesis' "Just a Job to Do" or "The Lady Lies", Depeche Mode's "Stripped", or Phil Collins' "Take Me Home".

Douglas Hill

Barry Manilow is, I believe, looking to retire so maybe a Barry in 4 minutes medley?

Rachel P.

Awww, dang it! That's terrible. But thanks for letting me know!

Hwyla

Old but never boring - I would love to hear you do "Riders on the Storm" by the Doors.

Helen D

Hi Geoff, been having a think, here are a few ideas you may or may not like? ☺️ Send Me An Angel - Scorpions Heroes - David Bowie With or Without You - U2 True - Spandau Ballet and Gary Kemp Something About You -Level 42 Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton Every Breath You Take - The Police Stand By Me - Ben E King Don't You (Forget About Me) - Simple Minds Kiss From A Rose - Seal (Halloween) Somebody's Watching Me - Rockwell (Christmas) I love the short you did for All I Want For Christmas - Mariah Carey I'd love to hear a full version because your voice is soo much nicer than Mariah's.😊

Dylan Reubenking

My Way by Frank Sinatra, Earth Song by Michael Jackson are my top two I'd kill to hear from you

Cat Wilson

Only 46? You, sir, are a whippersnapper! And here you VoicePlay guys talk about being old. I would love to hear you do Weird Al's "Truck Drivin' Song". It's an original, but a style parody of deep-voiced country-western singers.

Martina Kraft

Hm, the only song I can think of and love to have a version from you is "little drummer boy". Don't know if this is already on your list.

James Nelmondo

Got a weird one for you. I would love to hear you do Private Investigations by Dire Straits :)

ChazyUK

James I love Dire Straits so I'm upvoting this one : ) Plus I really want a song I know right away lol

ChazyUK

Good luck Geoff with reading through all these amazing suggestions : ) Should keep you going well past the retirement you wish for at 50 lol : )

Bethany Scott

Voiceplay did a wonderful Stand By Me recently, check it out!

Born Ancient

Hmm. Thats some Challenge Geoff!! How many old & dusty cobweb suggestions do you want?? Thoughts loading............🤔 1. King of the Road. 2. Whispering Grass. 3. Trail of the Lonesome Pine. 4. My rifle, my pony & me. 5. The story of my life. 6. Wonderful world. 7. Blue moon. 8. Stand by me. 9. Don't worry, be happy. 10. Under the Sea 11. The Gambler 12. El Paso 13. Devil woman 14. Memories are made of this. 15. Fever 16. Singing in the rain. 17. I got lucky 18. Moon river. 19. Suspicious minds. 20. I did what I did for Maria. 21. Hallelujah. 22. The Wayward wind. 23. Love, me. ( Collin Raye) 24. Catch a falling star. 25. That'll be the day. Choices because I feel that all the above songs would be greatly enhanced by arrangements & vocals by Geoff!

Doyne

"I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" by The Ink Spots

Stanley

You've cited Chris Cornell as a singer who influenced your own singing. Like a Stone by Audioslave would sound great in your voice. Bedshaped by Keane is also a song that could sound quite somber if it was sung in bass register

Helen D

Of course they did, lol I forgot about that, you are right, well that's one off the list already 😆👌

Sarah Borzelli

That could be really interesting! ❤️ Although...Geoff might likely change the rhythm 🤣...and then...good luck!

Rahel

Say something...

Rahel

Earth Song would be great with Voiceplay! ❤️

PetraH

That would be perfect!! Or Telegraph Road. I suggested Brothers in Arms. But really, anything from Dire Straits would be amazing.

Cynthia Ross

“Shadows In The Moonlight” by Anne Murray. It’s romantic and sultry…your voice would make it pure steam. The melody is very much an ear worm; it’ll stick in your head for days. But the arrangement …. eh…not so great, IMO. Kinda bland. That song deserves better. It needs you.

Clare Green

Sing whatever your young little heart desires. Everything you do is amazing, intricate and instantly on my play list. You have introduced me to music I have never heard before and enhanced old favourites. Thank you so much😀

Denaliland

Love My Grandfathers Clock

Denaliland

More from Marty Robbins? Or something from CW McCall? eta something by someone from your neck of the woods Jim Stafford? Last Chant, Swamp Witch many spoken story songs.

David Wanderer

there are several songs by the old Australian singer John Farnham that I think you'd do justice to, particularly Age of Reason and Take the Pressure Down. I don't know if these songs made it far out of Australia but they are anthemic or rolling enough to be worth your look.

Pam Franklin

It's Just a Matter of Time - 0riginally done by Brooks Benton in the late '50s, re-done by Randy Travis- I think in the 1990s?

Dolly Geotes

Georgia on My Mind would be a good one

Debs Badger

A Horse With No Name - America

Nathan Wahl

Hey Mr. BassMan, how about something from the days when every Doo-Wop group had a Mr. Bass Man?!? A medley of fun songs like Blue Moon and Goodnight Sweetheart Goodnight. Look no further than anything covered by Sha Na Na and their showboat Bass Man, Bowser!!!! But all down an octave, of course! Heck, there's even a song called Mr. Bass Man from that era! Shhhh Boom, Earth Angel, Duke of Earl, Yup Yip Bomm (Get a Job), Pretty Little Angel Eyes, Life is but a Dream, In the Still of the Night, Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher. So many GREAT songs that will now fade away forever when us 46+++yos are gone.

Ilona Dever

Let It Be Me - Everly Brothers They also have some fun ones that would work as shorts....

Leonie Frenkert-Ghazi

What would you think about Frank Sinatra: Fly me to the moon? I would really like it and I think, it's a suitable song for you, but blues? Could be nice! 🤔

1u3e

Oh yes a medley would be great, I like this idea a lot

James Nelmondo

Imagine his lower baritone and bass in that one.... It seems a weird choice but I can hear it.

James Nelmondo

Telegraph Road is a great choice too!

James Nelmondo

Pure steam is a description I didn't know I needed in my vocab :)

Cynthia Ross

You’re welcome? I guess? 😁 lol, I’m likely older than you and/or raised on older entertainment than you were….there’s a song from a movie in the 50’s that kinda made steam and/or steam heat a popular bit of slang for a while. The song is actually called “Steam Heat”, from the movie Pajama Game. I like the Patti Page version; that’s the album my Mom had. It’s on YouTube, give it a listen sometime. It’s strikes a nice balance of being sexy without being vulgar.

Elena Alton

Me and my sister both really want to hear your take on The Gambler!

Find

Rawhide

Dawn Jones

Scarborough Fair - Simon and Garfunkel. Just a version of you Nothing Else Matters.

Mark Armstrong

Under the Boardwalk would be really cool, or Goodnight sweetheart.

Loves to Dive

Thought of another one: First time I ever saw your face: Roberta Flack. Just you and a piano, don't even need your backup singers. This might be more of a VP but how about How do you mend a broken heart by the BeeGees. For fun Loves me like a rock by Paul Simon. For more modern Too Sweet by Hozier.

Susana

Eye of the tiger! What a good song. I think that Red right hand would be amazing for Geoff although we instantly think of Nick Cave of course. An the wiping song (I think that is the name).

Susana

I'm curious Chazy!! Now I need to know the question 😁

Hwyla

I should clarify - the song is old - not you. But neither is ever boring.

Ms Molly

Ever thought about anything by James Taylor? (I LOVE him!) I think you'd do his music real justice! Like maybe "Shed a Little Light" (one of my favorite songs, and there's so much you could do with arranging the BGVs!) "Copperline", "Never Die Young", "October Road" or even going back to the early days with "Fire and Rain"? He's such a thoughtful lyricist, and I kind of see you as really vibing with his sensitive approach to music.

Kathy Pricer

I t kills me that the Eagles won't let anyone cover their songs!! Geoff could kill it on ANYTHING of theirs!

Kathy Pricer

Last Kiss by Wayne Cochran (an oldie from 1961, the year I was born!)

Kathy Pricer

I guess The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot would be out of the question.... I loved the song anyway, but when I learned the story behind it, that he gave all the royalties from it to the families of the men who died on the E.F., it made it sooo much better! And Geoff could do amazing with it!

Helen D

Yes I do too. 😊

Rachel Dempsey

Maybe something Hozier? Better Love? Eat your young? Too Sweet? Francesca? Almost? There’s so many that Geoff could definitely put his touch on!

Rachel Dempsey

Oh and maybe a kind of random suggestion but the new one from Vance Joy - “Fascination in the Dark”.

ChazyUK

Will see Susana, might pop it in the lounge at some point, trouble is the written word can and does get taken in the wrong way at times, I have had it in chats before, it’s all about the way it comes across and that’s not always easy without visual cues 🤣 If I do decide to talk about it I need to really phrase it in a way that doesn’t sound like I am being a bleep 🤣🤣🤣🤣😊

ChazyUK

Oh yes please to Blue moon, love it : )

ChazyUK

Oh just thought of another ( no chance of retiring at 50 Geoff 🤣 sorry ) Sweet Dreams are Made of this - Eurythmics It might have already been mentioned already, gosh I can’t keep up with the mega amount of fab suggestions, Patrons rock 😊

Chellerie Bellerie

Thanks for asking.. I've often wondered what a bass version of 'Can't take my eyes off you' (Frankie Valli) would be like. I love that song and I've heard a few different versions and Muse is amazing, but I'd like to see / hear that, definitely!

Patricia Merry

To go along with the idea of an accidently murderous Kathy killing all the Geoffs, Queen's song Killer Queen might work. And I'd love to hear your version of it. (With the Beatle's Maxwell's Silver Hammer as a revenge follow up.)

Born Ancient

A full version of "I'm on Fire" would melt my soul & most likely be my most played song! I play the short version very regularly! ❤️

D. Maenad Schluter

I think a bass version of Music of the Night would be amazing. Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog was originally written for one singer, but Chris Cornell couldn't quite hit the Low parts he wrote...

Blue Raven

Oh, so many fantastic songs that would only get better by being Castelluccified! Some of my favorite songs — I barely listen to anymore because you or VoicePlay haven’t covered them yet — include: Shadow – Livingston (2024) A dark, atmospheric piece about wrestling with the parts of yourself you can’t outrun. It blends moody storytelling with a rising emotional arc that feels both intimate and cinematic. Bones in the Ocean – The Longest Johns (2022) A haunting sea-shanty ballad about grief, memory, and choosing to rest with the ones you’ve lost. It’s both mournful and strangely uplifting, like a final farewell carried by waves. The Wild Rover – traditional (often dated to the 17th century) A classic folk drinking song about a wandering man returning after years of reckless living. Simple, rowdy storytelling with a wink — equal parts regret and celebration. Cat's in the Cradle – Harry Chapin (1974) A bittersweet story about a father who’s always too busy, and a son who grows up to mirror him. A gentle but devastating reminder of how quickly time slips away. A Boy Named Sue – Johnny Cash (1969) A humorous but gritty tale about a man confronting the father who gave him a girl’s name. Fast, sharp, and full of twists — practically a whole novel compressed into one song. The Gambler – Kenny Rogers (1978) A warm, philosophical story told through a late-night conversation with a seasoned gambler. Life advice disguised as poker rules — wise, calm, and quietly profound. Come Dancing – The Kinks (1982) (nostalgically set in 1957) A bright, nostalgic song about childhood memories and an older sister who loved to dance. Behind the upbeat melody lies a bittersweet story about change and growing up. Flowers Are Red – Harry Chapin (1978) A gentle but pointed fable about conformity. A creative boy is punished for not following the rules, and the song becomes a sad commentary on how we teach children to limit themselves. Space Oddity – David Bowie (1969) A lonely, cinematic space narrative following Major Tom as he drifts away from Earth. Eerie, beautiful, and quietly existential — a story of wonder and isolation. But whatever the future holds, I’m absolutely certain that you and Kathy will keep choosing amazing songs — the kind that genuinely make life a little brighter. Thank you both for all the hard work you put into making the world a better place. (You really do, you know!) 💙 (I guess this turned out to be a little more than "a line" - sorry)

James Nelmondo

That's actually a really interesting choice. At first I was like... what? But the more I think about it...

Amanda Hovendon

Hushabye Mountain from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Amanda Hovendon

My mom still wants a “The Boxer” cover by Simon and Garfunkel

ChazyUK

Thank you James, I bet you were thinking What…. lol 😂 i sometimes hear songs and I can hear Geoffs voice singing it, it would be Geoffified of course but our boy could do it 😊

ChazyUK

Space oddity, yes please, I have seen this asked for a few times, fingers crossed 🤞cos we know it would sound superb 😊

Dooley

Something old but not boring Jan and Dean's "Dead Man's Curve"

ZAYRAY!

Hushabye Mountain!!

Talbot

'I'M STILL STANDING' by Elton John. You ain't no 93 years old!

Laura

A bit of a different one but: Song of Persephone from the Red Rising Audio Book would sound incredible by you and would be so fun to see what visuals you could produce with it!

Jonna J

I feel like either (or both) "Sailing to Philadelphia" or "What It Is", by Mark Knopfler would make an amazing arrangement by you.

Candis Binkley

"The Thing" by Phil Harris; "My Cup Runneth Over" by Ed Ames; "Sunset on the Sage" by Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen.

Helen D

I want to add "Dreamer" by Ozzy Osbourne. :)

Andreas Bührmann

I'd love to hear your take on Billy Joel's 'Just the way you are'

PrincessJoySparkles

I just thought of what if you sang “Time in a Bottle” dressed as Professor Snape mixing a concoction in his potions lab at Hogwarts from the Harry Potter series. Might be an interesting combo

The Shogun

Hi Geoff ! I should like you to cover David Bowie’s “ Everyone Says Hi!” Sometime soon! All the best!

Sheila Ross

I'd love to hear you read more stories - maybe "Where the Wild Things Are", by Maurice Sendak?

Sheila Ross

I've always been a fan of Bon Jovi - a cover of one or two of their older songs would be awesome. "Wanted Dead or Alive" or maybe "Give me Something for the Pain"?

Su Boddie

I would have been 30 when you were born. So, I totally understand when it can "feel like 90" (Jesus Christ, Superstar). My vote, among some already mentioned, would be The Platters 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" and/or Johnny Mathis 'A Certain Smile' and/or anything Nat King Cole recorded. You see, Geoff, I'm not picky; I just love to hear you sing and really enjoy the cinematography.

Durga Dasi Dorthe Rasmussen

Hi from Denmark. Firstly old is not boring. Im Happy that I reasonly stumbled over your videos, they are very comforting. So how could I introduce you to an genre you might not know much about? Or surprise me that you do. Like Bhajans or Kirtana. It is ancient beyond any of us, but it could be sweet to hear it with your voice. I truly believe you could bring something exciting to it. Sorry the clumsy attempt before.Just love

Denise Haukkala

Pore jud is daid from Oklahoma. Feel free to change the pitch.

How about "Walking in Memphis" by Marc Cohn
