I'm feeling dizzy just hearing about everything you've got on your plate. Please don't work yourself into exhaustion! I think folks here will agree that we want you to stay (or get fully) healthy, be happy with your work, and enjoy the process despite the long hours and challenges. It's nice to receive updates. Being independent means there aren't many additional resources, and scheduling is sometimes aspirational (especially when one has been ill). The final Geoff creation is always worth the wait.

Hi Geoff. I think I can safely join the choir of patrons who don’t feel any particular rush here. Give yourself the time to do what you do — and enough time to actually enjoy it. Those deadlines are something you mostly invented yourself after Patreon changed the payment model, and most of us don’t really care about them. I actually love the “new” angle where we support the artist rather than paying per finished product — because as Jim Lake wisely wrote further down: “we're supporting your work, not buying songs on a schedule.” No one ever promised us a certain number of songs per year anyway, and as Jim also said, the number isn’t the important part. Every song and music video is a plus — especially if you had fun making it (and maybe complained just a little about how challenging it can be 😄). And honestly, you might be forgetting all the other things you and Kathy do for us: the chats, photos, updates, Kathy’s glorious BTS videos, and the little spontaneous moments about whatever happens to be going on — like “Big John,” which even came with a small song. So no worries. I’m not here because I expect a constant stream of things. I’m here so you have the freedom to experiment, scrap things that didn't really work, learn from it, and every now and then remind the world just how good something can be when it’s done right. And if that occasionally requires a strategic amount of couch time watching YouTube cooking shows and scratching Tommy and Oakley behind the ears while dramatically lamenting life’s artistic challenges… we’ll understand. 😄 Thanks for everything you and Kathy do for us! 💙
