Just remember, not all Lord of the Rings-releated music needs to have dwarf costumes... *says the person hoping for more Lord of the Rings music*.... Love Kathy trying out the costume pieces on herself, very fun! Viking leg warmers are seriously so much warmer looking than what we used to use in the 80s... Hearing Geoff singing live (even gently) over the instrumental track was cool, another idea for socials clips? Karaoke-Geoff? Thank you for the long BTS, that was really cool to see!

Wow I loved getting such a detailed insight into your thought process for the set. I think the backdrop and the snow turned out to look fantastic - it was the right choice! The makeup is very good and fitting too - I also love the costumes a lot. The lighting really added a lot to the whole video! Kathy, this has been your best BTS yet! I loved loved LOVED how you started right from the beginning - that was probably my favourite part, hearing about the planning, the concepts, seeing and hearing the first pass at the song, and seeing Geoff do some recording! I was amazed (but not surprised) at how organized you are, and just HOW MUCH you do in these productions, from assembling all those costumes, to lyrical planning between the characters, lighting concepts and ideas, cueing Geoff during the shoot (that was pretty darn cool) - I am, as ever, in absolute awe of you!

This was the best BTS I have seen (so far). It was very interesting to see all the preplanning and concept work and ways how the plan crystallized along the way. I hope you keep using this style of BTS videos in the future projects as well if the time constraints allow.

My god, Kathy, pulling this together with Geoff sick for so much of the preproduction, must feel like a minor miracle. I thought I knew how much work you guys were putting into these major productions because I did semi-pro musical theater in the 80s and 90s, (both tech and on stage when the production needed an actual low base.) I was so wrong; you did it with a crew of two for most of it, and when you filmed, you had 5-6 people doing all of this. Amazing is too weak a word to describe what you gave to us. Loud applause from all of us, I am sure. To look at the final result, well, it’s like you must have had a crew of 20 or more and 6 or so clones of Kathy to do all the preproduction sourcing, costumes, and props, and the sheer logistics well, it boggled my mind. (Not as low as Geoff, thank goodness. But Sondheim likes to torture the cast in his musicals. Also, Judd in Oklahoma has a low solo on stage that is not in the film version that I would love to see and hear by a star like Geoff. )

I´m really happy that you made this pretty long BTS. It perfectly shows the ridiculous amount of work it takes to make a video like this. I have the greatest respect for you and the work you do and the result is nothing but fantastic. Thank you so much, both for the BTS and the video itself. I loved seeing more of the earlier parts of the process! Fantastic work everyone, as always. And that snow stuff is fun! I used a small amount once for a promotional shot of a book. It ended up looking as if I'd just greenscreened the book onto a shot of some real snow, rather than the elaborate kitchen table shoot that it was 😂

THIS WAS AWESOME!!!! I LOVED it sooooo much! Favorite perk ever. The doggies are always so adorable, distracting or not, they’re fun. That fake snow has been quite the subject from the first tease with it placed among the boxes. Then to end with, “can I make the snow yellow?” was a very fitting way to put it to rest! Haha!

Getting to see the process, the ups, the downs, and all the decision making is incredibly interesting if your even a bit interested in production. What in the world did we ever do to deserve this AMAZING BTS? It is so apparent that this is your passion and that Layne is just the happiest person playing make-believe ever. I know I don't have the words to describe my pleasure in watching all of these frustrating pieces come together in the beautiful final product. My daughter was a dancer from the age of 4, still is. Her studio did not do "recitals." They did a show each year and it was always quite a production with building and painting stages outside, the program, the order since many girls were in many dances, etc. Most of the numbers were dances they did in multiple competitions as well. It was a labor of love, expensive, and time consuming, a way of life. She switched to Swing while at University and works and competes at many of the large Swing Dance events across the country and teaches in her local community on top of working full time and she did her MBA online. The energy and work ethic is real with "live artists." It shows in all you do. Thank you. 🥰

So much work! But it came out beautifully! One thing I have found to work for me and my family, is taking a Black Elderberry supplement daily. Haven't been sick but on a very rare occasion. My son takes gummies while my folks take a capsules daily. It boosts your immune system up if taken daily. They also have real Black Elderberry in jelly and jams and tea.

I needed a big screen to enjoy such fabulous video, I love BTS, there is so much work behind and many people don't realize how hard it must be to film a video. Little behind in watching this. I won't lie the last line of the song just breaks my heart so I was putting it off. As I type this, I still have tears in my eyes, it gets me that much and I only heard a smidge of it. Any way, loved this longer BTS and seeing the creative process.
