That was me a year ago with my home office as I work remote 2 days a week and my old desk was on its last leg - literally. I had to prop it up on a table for the missing leg. Took a day to get the new desk assembled and everything moved over. It's sooooo much better now. Happy assembling Geoff. 🔨🛠🪛

*looks from Geoff's desk being displayed on my monitor down to the desk holding that monitor, which came from the attic of a university storage facility, has a plywood extension mounted to the side of it with brackets, a hole cut through it with an extra computer fan mounted from underneath to keep additional computer equipment sitting on top cool enough when functioning at high capacity, and really nice speakers being held in just the right positions by corrugated boxes cut to the perfect size, and a screw mounted into the side of the plywood to hang nice headphones on* I have no idea what you're talking about. Nope, none whatsoever. Nothing crunk to see here. Can't even imagine working with that every day. 🤣 Good luck to you! Hope you post a "finished" pic when it's all done, to give me incentive to get my own setup upgraded one of these days instead of just talking about it!

If you had home renovation tips and tricks channel, I'd probs watch that too. My desk used to also be just some plywood on some stuff, but nowadays it's a real desk finally. It could still use some work, since I can't fit the midi keyboard on it permanently, so I need to move everything and then bring the keyboard from it's nook in the corner to my desk and then back when I finish.

I hope everything goes well. Remember to lift with you knees not you back. We dont want to see you hurt. To bad you dont have help. Of course you will plenty of the four footed help 🫠. Hopefully when you are done it is warm enough down there to go for a swim. That will help to relax the muscles you used taking things apart and putting things back together. Once everything is done spend some time doing something you want to do not have to do. Have some Geoff time.😀

I sit for most of the day for my job, so a good desk and chair is worth it! I've worked at both Staples and Office Max, and they have great furniture and chairs! Staples has a massage chair that would sell out as soon as we got it in. It's a great one for the desk in case you or Kathy, or any Patreon wants a new chair! I can't wait to get another update if possible! ;)
